Ugh. That sucks. Memory Tapes was fun, but nothing amazing. He was only on for like 35 minutes and played Seek Magic straight through. Definitely fun but you were right, not worth it considering your situation.

haha well then the show was amazing. GGD is mesmerizing live, and dj /rupture's set was really strong. I sent an email to RSVP for it but I haven't heard anything back...don't know what's going on, but oh well. Hope you're feeling better.

i'm pretty sure that compatibility depends on a certain amount of artists; we've had those in common since we got these, so, always super. i'm fully super with plenty of people who don't appreciate my musical tastes :)

Oh it's a great record. More drone and atmospherically based than The Knife stuff, but Karin's vocals are as amazing as always. "If I Had a Heart" and "Concrete Walls" are highlights imo. The new Atlas Sound record is pretty good ("Walkabout", "Shelia"), but I think I prefer "Let the Blind..." as a whole album.

yes they ARE in that order for reason. at least they should be if the artist is a good one. people underestimate the significance of an album. a great album is a journey just like a film and should be treated as such. personally, i often find it disrespectful to break the track order unless the artist intended it to be that way (like a trance mix or something)
