To be honest, the new stuff was lackluster. I wanted gritty. They were saying how that was their 7th time to Cleveland and the 4th time at the Beachland. My friend told me that, when he saw them when they came last, the show was CRAZY. It wasn't like that at all. They were too polished. I enjoyed myself, but I left early. Anyway, sorry it took me so long to respond. This past month as been crazy. I only remembered to respond because I was just listening to the Thermals! How did the move go? And school? And I'm really jealous at how many musicians roll through Vancouver.

I didn't actually end up going! I just got back from San Francisco at 7.30 last night so I was absolutely shattered, my friend took the ticket instead. Did you go? Was it any good? Hahaha Marina is amazing! I've seen her quite a few times when nobody really knew of her. I'm surprised she didn't have any dates in Canada while she was in the States this summer!
