yeah the difficulty always varies. I thought that my 3 unit was so much easier than what i expected and yet the 4 unit was much harder (even though i obviously expected 4 unit to be harder than 3). I think I answered maybe one part of Q8 and only half of Q7, but after reading the paper at the beginning my strategy was basically to take my time and just try to get the first 5 or 6 out cleanly.

that said i don't thin any concert will ever beat when I saw NIN. Also still not sure whether I'm going to soundwave. Depends on whether I can convince friends/ have money after having to buy new car/ get around to it before the tix sell out (probably already have :p). Iron Maiden side show is also an alternative option because I have a few friends that are big maiden fans but probably don't know or care 'bout Melvins/Primus/Random Punk Bands/ Random Scene-bands/QOtSA/Random other stuff :p

haha thanks for having my back on the internets. Nah I haven't listened to it yet, I haven't even listened to filth yet :p. I guess I haven't been so motivated because I went off breakcore recently, and I'm not such a fan of post-Rossz snares. Despite many heralding Rossz itself as Funk's best, I just didn't think it worked, and the stuff since is really good, but it just didn't move me in the same way that everything between Songs about My Cats and Huge Chrome did. Which reminds me it always irritates me when I go into JB and their snare's catalogue is one copy of Detrimentalist. I suppose I could order what I want online like I eventually did with Autechre, but I still hope that one day I'll walk in and the whole discography will be there :p (plus I'm so lazy online). OH AND IM GOING TO SEE THE PUMPKINS NEXT MONTH :D:D:D (well b0lly plus new crew) Even though I haven't listened to them for like a yr, they were my fav band in school and i really want to see billy live. Should be EPIC.

owow that lineup is indeed amazing. Primus + Melvins indeed! I would also love to see Iron Maiden live - that would be good simply because it is Iron Maiden and they are all epic musicians. Wouldn't mind seeing any of: Protest the Hero, QotSA, Kylesa, The Sword, Monster Magnet or High on Fire either. Lol at some of the 90s punk bands playing there - I didn't know half of those still existed :p. My guilty pleasure on the list would probably be Breathe Carolina. As I couldn't afford the ridiculous price/trip of splendour, I will definitely be considering this - hope I can get some of my friends to come too.

I should also listen to in the court, since I have it on my computer. And thanks for the psytrance recommendations - will definitely give them a go after I've listened to infected mushroom. I'm not a fan of normal trance (only listened to stuff like Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren) because it seems too anally retentive in terms of composition and style, but psytrance sounds more interesting. I don't have many recommendations for you, because mostly I've been listening to metal, breakcore and j-core -

no, unfortunately I don't. In fact I hadn't even heard of those sites until you mentioned them :p. I do everything the hard way still ;). I heard you can irc fish (with not so good prospects) but you probably already know that since you know more than me. On a related note, I do have an account on a community site 'torrentech' which looks very clean and well cared for - specialises in electronic stuff, but very diverse. I've never used it, because they (like all these groups) have a compulsory ratio thing and I often have trouble seeding due to connection issues, download limits, not actually owning my own internet etc :p But I can give you an invite to that if you're at all interested (assuming I can remember my username and password and invites work if you've never done anything on the site :p) Anyway, what else is up music wise?

Just thought I'd let you know that I'm hitting up the NIN sideshow at Hordern Pavilion XDXD - was thinking of going to Soundwave, but then decided I preferred Hardcore fans who rip you off for not having seen the band at least five times rather than Hardcore Hardcores who just generally go hardcore crazy at large outdoor concerts :p. Besides - There are SO MANY GOOD BANDS playing, I wouldn't get over the fact that I'd only be able to see one sixth of them :p. I swear, it's like a better lineup than all the bigdayouts this decade put together - enjoy that man. I'm so pumped for Trent :D, and I'm keen to know who (if any) the support(s) will be.
