I'm still waiting for my pizza to be delivered and I decided to 'shout' here to pass some time.

You did indeed, sir. I'm moving to Dickson, TN the weekend of March 20. Its about 40 min or so from downtown Nashville. I'm looking forward to it. There's an awful lot to like about living out here, but I'll be damned if I don't miss the South. Anyways, I have mixed feelings about the new Radiohead. Some of the songs I absolutely love. I'd put Codex up there with some of there best work. Others I could do without. That being said, even a 'decent' Radiohead album is about a thousand times better than 90% of everything else out there.

Yo. Sasquatch was a blast man. I have a feeling its one of those festivals that's never going to disappoint. All up-and-coming bands trying to make their mark.....they tend to put on a hell of a show. Highlights included Vampire Weekend (blow me away good live), MMJ (expected...but it was still my first time seeing them live....Jim James is kinda a badass), The Dirty Projectors, The XX, Local Natives, She and Him, Broken Social Scene, The National. I'm sure there were more, but those were the ones that stood out the most. I missed The Hold Steady (they overlapped 100% with The National) but I'm seeing them in Portland in August. I heard they were really good also. Anyway....how are things? Seen any good shows recently?

Not yet....its on my list. As well as the new Caribou, Tallest Man on Earth, MGMT, and a new one called Bear in Heaven. My emusic resets tomorrow, so i'll probably get it then. PLUS, the Hold Steady, Band of Horses, and the National all have a new one coming out within the next month. May is going to be awesome.

Yeah, we camped last year. And to be honest, we've already got concert tix AND camping tix. So if you decided to come you could just use our campsite with us if you wanted. Its a cool festival for sure. You absolutely cannot beat the Gorge as a venue. Its a bit different from Bonnaroo, for both good and bad reasons, but i think its got a killer lineup this year. If you decide you want to come you should give me a call. I can email you my number if you're interested. As for The XX album. I. Love. It. I've listened to it about 10 times straight through since Thursday. I highly recommend it.....its exactly the type of music that I love.

I definitely have not listened to the new JJ Cale yet. I will now though. By the way.......Explosions. In. The. Sky. Hooooooooly crap. They've been around awhile, but I've haven't liked a band this much on my first listen in a long time. They're all instrumental. And they do the music for Friday Night Lights (the movie and the TV show). They're awesome.

I've heard some of it....mainly what's played on XM. They've been a tough band for me to get into. Some of their stuff is a bit too experimental for me. If you recommend it maybe i'll give it a deeper listen. Check out Andrew Bird's latest......its one of my early favorites of 2009 so far.
