I know what you mean.. I was in love with GM when I was 10 or 11.. But then the minute his earrings got bigger than mine (haha) I sort of fell out it but I do still adore him.. Oh do send me the link to their interview.. I'd love to see it.. :) I'm impressed with the whole B-school and internet radio thing.. I wish I could do something like that.. I'm a business student as well and a closet musician.. Btw, I'm Nazia.. I grew up in Pune.. So you prolly grew up listening to all the bands from the 80s (I'm guessing you're not much older than I am..) Ever since I can remember I have always wished that I was in my 20s in the 60s or 70s.. I think it was then that the "music revolution" happened (If you know what I mean).. And yes, please give my personal radio station a go.. Let me know how you find it.. :) Will look forward to the desi accent "in all its pristine glory".. :)

That sounds like me.. And oh my god! You named the artists I grew up listening to.. You met GM? Whoa.. I wanted to go to one of his concerts in November/December 2011 but unfortunately for me all his tours were cancelled because he was in poor health due to pneumonia.. I hope to meet him soon since I'm in his turf.. How were Johnny Hates Jazz? Gosh I love them.. I practically grew up listening to JHJ, Duran Duran, GM, Wham!, Pet Shop Boys etc. As I grew I guess I inclined more towards rock.. Are you in the music business or something? You said you got to interview JHJ.. I hope I got something good to offer you, music wise.. Today I realized that I have quite a smorgasbord here.. Also, I'm guessing your name is Pranav? Desi? :)

I used to listen to a lot of pop when I was a kid.. I listen to songs from yesteryears for nostalgia and to songs from way before my time because they don't make them like that any more :) So, I hope over time you can reintroduce me to pop.. Keep listening! :)

Yep as they say variety is the spice of life..Even I am psychedelic about those artists you have mentioned but I like the songs created by Wham! more than those made by GM. Maybe cos of nostalgia. I wish to meet this guy in person and also Andrew Ridgeley and thank them for making my childhood a happy one with their music. You are lucky to have got an opportunity at that. We are the few of our countrymen who are still hung up to the 80s pop.

Our musical tastes are same and it's very good! I'm glad to look for such people, who interested the same things, especially in music ;) I'm sorry, if my English isn't good because it isn't my native language...I need in practice in talkin' English, but it's impossible to do it in such conditions, which are at our school...Tell me about you, please. I have already started to make radio's group Vkontakte. I refer to your Facebook group. I'll finish it on weekend, because I have some problems with translation into Russian. I understand everything, but I can't choose right words in Russian, it's ridiculous, but I will try to translate everything well. I envy you )) It's my dream to see this amazing artist, but nobody wants to come to our country, because Ukraine like a big ass on the world map. Though Depeche Mode have been in our country with their tour some weeks ago.

Why don't make a group of radio Creme Brulee on Vkontakte ( like Facebook, but for Russia ). I'am sure that a lot of peple will like your radio and such kinds of music ! Have you ever been on Geogre Michael's concerts ??

Sun Always Shines on TV is definately one of my top favorites. I'm watching that Jonathan Ross performance right now! Thank you soo much. I love Take On Me & I hate it when ppl say it's "overrated." That song represented everything about the 80s..cool music videos, & synthesizers. haha & thank you for what you said about my music tastes.
