Definitely, you have a great profile! I was going to ask if you have any recommendations for this year but I think we've listened to mostly the same things haha. I'll check out that feeble little horse album though!

Same to you Leo! Yeah I stumbled on that band on a "related to Idaho" section on AllMusic. They just happened to put their catalog on spotify the day after I found out about them. It was meant to be!

Well I'm deep in the midst of a Spirit of the Beehive kick right now. If you haven't heard them and like freaky and heavy indie rock start with the first album and go forward from there. On the softer side of things, Little Kid's album Transfiguration Highway from last year is the best folk-leaning record I've heard in ages. You got anything for me?

Agreed. Mayday is def one of their best. Didn't even know they had the new album released until today when I thought of what better band to listen to on such occasion

Judging by my charts I've only listened to them 15 times in the last three years, that has to change in 2021!

Happy 5th scrobbling anniversary today, Philip! ... Wouldn't you agree, how quick time flashed by listening to your >75k scrobbles ? ... May you have many more such musical cake days, and many more magnificent music experiences

Yes, slow life is also here at, the moment. Though, with the kids there is always some surprises in peaceful life :-) I hope researchers find soon some working, and cheap vaccine so the world can return to usual pace! Greetings to Scotland !

Congrats on reaching the "71k scrobbles" milestone :-) ... How is life on your side of the planet ? ... Here in Germany, some items are gone out in the stores the last days, e.g. toilet papers, milk, noodles... And at your place? Stay safe in these Corona times, Philip

Have only gotten into them recently but they seem heavily underrated! Heard "I Will Not Find The Words" on a compilation a couple of years ago and it came back into my head recently haha

Yeah check them out for sure! I'm really hoping Duster come over to the UK, especially if they're playing with Alex G, that would be great. Your profile has reminded me that I've been meaning to check out the Brian Jonestown Massacre so will definitely do that.

Thanks a lot, you too! Always a pleasure to meet another Idaho fan. I'm continuously looking for artists with a similar vibe to them, have any recommendations?

Absolutely man! Got really into Western Teleport last summer and enjoying the new one a lot. He's playing here with Christian from The Hotelier next month so that's a gig I don't want to miss!

Yea dont miss that, that sounds amazing. Do you think it will be a big venue? When I saw him there was like maybe 20 of us there (total) and I walked in right at the start of the show. It was pretty funny because he started the gig by having everyone stand in a circle around him while he played in the middle of the crowd by the entrance so when I walked in I pretty much walked right in the center of the performance lol. I wonder if he will do anything like that with you guys.

That's so funny, I hope something crazy like that happens when I go. The venue's gonna be tiny, my band played in there and it was packed and that's saying a lot for us haha

Hey! I like it, I'm glad they've pretty much stuck to the same formula as their older albums and kept their sound. Need to listen to it more though, the grey cover never stands out to me when I'm picking something to listen to haha. Mayday is already one of my favourite songs by them, I loved it the first time I heard it. What about you?

I like it quite a bit, plus I loved the promo they did for it where instead of releasing another preview single they just released a compilation of all of J's solos on it. I'm getting to the point where I may like post-reunion Dino more than original Dino. Such a consistent band.

I pretty much only use spotify. My way around the offline thing (and because the only thing I'm ocd about is last fm for some reason) is to keep a running note on my phone of all the music I listened to offline. Then when I'm in a spot where I'm online but can't listen to music like in a meeting or something I'll put my phone on silent and play through that music for the scrobbles i missed out on haha

hahaha nah you cant see anymore. I would say every couple months they have a tendency to add a feature back so maybe some day, but honestly there isn't a whole lot of benefit for being a subscriber these days unless you're into using the radio player on the site. I just stay subscribed half because of laziness and half because if last.fm ever puts anything in beta subscribers usually get first dibs.

Oh man I'm so jealous of you, Glasgow is up there on the list of places I'd like to travel. Mogwai is pretty great live and seem like decent people. Their early stuff is really simple and is my favorite, but if you like electronic stuff at all you should check out some of their newer albums.
