So after actually sitting down and listening to Port of Morrow I have decided it is not my favorite. I mean, its good as a general CD but disappointing for James Mercer. On a side note the last concert left this semester is Neon Indian. I am going. You are definitely invited.

Erm, Said the whale is in April, Neon Indian is in May, Nada Surf I think is April and Rebelution is the 20th! of Montreal is April I think but I've been wrong before.

i've never gotten as close to the stage as i did yesterday, but you missed out on little more than alison's eye contact and getting beer in your face (and for me, it was the first time i've been explicitly offerred alcohol). i really liked the entrance band (i'd never heard of them either), but cold cave was disappointing, though i liked their drummer. the kills are my favorite band, and that show was, hands-down, the best i've ever been to.

first ave really only requires you to come with someone over 18, so they can 'supervise'...i thought it was a great show, i was in the front. i was a little surprised they didn't play 'cheap and cheerful.' what did you think?
