i love british indie. not that i dont like american pop or indie... i do. in brit pop, u cant really hear the accent as much as u can with the indie. i love the strong brit accent. it is sooo sexy and the music always tells a story. with american music, its guns, bling, money and ho's. lol. not with u guys. its a much better feel. KASABIAN is the best; i agree.

Haha, yeah, The Smiths are immense, for some odd reason I identify with the lyrics in a strange way. And yeah, I think it's a great track; love U2, actually, such a shame Bono's a bit of a tit. :P

Hi Greg...i've read your shout for The Fratellis' Chelsea Dagger' and i agree with everything you said....;-) But please explain me- what does 'doing the 'pat the head with both hands' dance' mean...:-) that sounds funny...and together with 'beeing pissed up in a club' somehow familiar....Greetz Foggster

No, I'm from Germany, but I'm a British soul somehow! At least in respect to music ;)

Yeah, Iv heard about Fan Club back int day. Sounds like it was defo the place to be. Is there anywhere else worthwhile visiting in Leicester? We usually go to all the studenty places. I bet Mosh was dead. Last week, the first student night back, it was proper dirty and sweaty... a right welcome back :)

Oh I love Mosh on a Saturday. I havent been in ages though, we usually do Tuesdays because there isnt anything else to do. I like Fan Club too. Im a rep for Brighton Beach so Im slightly biased, but during the last hour the music tends to go more Britpoppy :) I am back in LE2 now. Aching to go out but me and my friends are officially skint again. Boo.

Ah wow an Ash fan! I didn't realise! I don't often come across many! Yer, a few years ago I managed to get tickets to see Kasabian at a small venue (about 350) in Portsmouth - The Wedgewood Rooms if you've heard of it, and it was amazing! So intimate! But my fave was when I saw them as Brighton, just danced the whole way though the set. You're lucky getting a home gig though, theyre always best..not many good bands in portsmouth though to allow me to experience it! haha
