Hey, sorry this is a little cheeky, but do you think you might be able to email me a couple of situationists songs? I need "Fabric and Thread" and "Cold Out" but I can't find them anywhere! Thanks :)

Eat Skull stuff came through a mutual friend, Mr Harper. I think it's a little absurd but that's OK with me. Feel free to email about GBV but don't expect any pearls of wisdom worth more than 'one of the few bands doing conventional pop melodies I can be arsed to listen to'...

Not as much as you might think. The last album ended up disappointing me and I wouldn't want to see a string of records like that added to their discrography. Still, sucks. The Honeytrap boys (and girl) did good last night!

Word. I'm loving most of it, happy at the pop of it all! Faves are Summertime Clothes and My Girls, tho. Adventure's album's out by the way, if you like bleepy shit by people who are mates with Deacon. Unhelpfully called 'Adventure'.

HCDP album has great moments but the problem is too much of it sounds the same all the time. Years ago i think I remember Rich from The Hearing likes Distophia but I never got round to getting into them.

I reckon you can learn HOW to do the drums in a month or two if you get a copy of Fruity Loops and Recycle, but actually making everything into a collection of original coherent masterpieces probably takes longer.
