I wouldn't be educated enough to guess or say by hearing alone whether Paul Gilbert plays on the Lifeline record or not, but at least the booklet doesn't mention his name at any point, which is why I would think that the rest of the solos are on Neal as he is informed to play the guitars on the album. However, Paul Gilbert did play some solos on Sola Scriptura... on The Door and The Conflict, if I'm not mistaken. He is a very talented musician, and his style (or what little I have heard of it) is truly enjoyable, yes :)

On the shoutbox of "Fly High" by Neal Morse, you asked about the guitar solos. In case you haven't found out or heard about it already, I just thought to inform that the liner notes in the booklet of the album state that the second guitar solo in "Fly High" is played by Paul Bielatowicz, just as you estimated. I suppose the other solos are on Morse himself, then, since the booklet doesn't give any other names for guitarists on the record.

Thanks for the review about the new "Shout-Back" album. I am a fan of their first two albums, and was unaware that they got back together, and made a new album. It was that bad?? And to rberaldo - Linux rules!!

Hi Paul. I'm just finding my way around this thing; not sure how it works yet! There was a decent amount of Eden's Bridge here before I arrived, so I just filled in some gaps like Isle Of Tides. I haven't even downloaded the scrobbler yet - I'm just listening to random stuff as I do my paperwork!

Oh I saw your shout at my group, thanks for joining! ^^ If you like Dream Theater you should check out Shadow Gallery, a great progressive metal band. : ) Sadly the singer died almost a year ago, but they're still making one last album with another singer.

Thanks, yeah I love almost all different kinds of music. : ) Well the fact that you listen to Sons of Korah that much surprises me, I don't get to meet people that often who listen to Sons of Korah. I'm going to see them live in october here in Holland, can't wait! : )

Hi Paul – Hope this message finds you well. After checking out your library, it seems you have a very broad and educated taste in music. My good friends ‘Damien Cripps Band’ are currently touring the west coast of Australia promoting their new album. They are about to release the next single, and are very keen to create some imixes in itunes. Would you please do me a huge favour and have a listen to the song and message me back with a ‘sounds like.. '. You don’t need to listen all the way through just the first band or song that comes to your mind. If you like it, please add it to your library and give it some love (if you like it) song here - http://www.last.fm/music/Damien+Cripps+Band/Sophie+Single+2009?autostart Kind Regards Texas (Perth Australia) Damien Cripps Band – street team. P.S If you are interested in joining the street team in your area please message me and I will point you in the right direction. This includes a free copy of the new Album and a t-shirt.

2nd Chapter Of Acts...now THERE'S a band I haven't heard mentioned in a LONG time. I have several of their albums, both on vinyl (no cracks about my age :P) and CD. Heh.
