thanks for saying so lady! ive been a little busy with school to extend my thanks, but thank you. the newest tour round falls right around my finals so unfortunately i cant hit up any gigs. pretty bummed about that. make sure you go to one for me.

I was running the Felice Brother's gig at the Memorial Union Terrace this past summer when they played an unbelievable set (finished with the fiddle player diving headfirst into the drumset). I worked on WUD Music Committee when I was back in the states. Those boys are something special.

I don't know about energy and the like, but I do like them mountains. I've visited the South a couple of times -my wife used to live in Tennessee- and there's much I love about it. A bit of detective work on the map convinced me that Waynesville, NC would be the ideal place to live, but than you look at who else is shopping at the local Piggly Wiggly, and you get second thoughts...

I'm fairly sure it's just "Bowerbirds" ;-)

Glad you liked it. Now that I come to think of it, Matt Bauer would be even more up your street. And, as far as I'm concerned, Otis Gibbs does the guy + guitar + good lyrics game pretty well too, but he may be a little hillbilly to your liking. Even so, he'd be worth seeing live if he plays near you -a great entertainer.

Well, I had to look up low-fi on wikipedia -I'm not a man of the world, apparently, and don't really know what I like in terms of 'genres'. It's more about a certain feel I guess. Anyhow, at the risk of being completely wrong, I'd recommend, especially, Mariee Sioux, and, possibly, Nibs Van der Spuy, as two artists you may find interesting.

For having a 'very low' compatibility, I must say I'm liking what I hear in your library. With the added bonus that most of it is new to me. Thanks.
