Nyt ku satuin vilkasemaan noita käppyröitä vuosien varrelta, ni olipas siellä kyllä paljon tota last days of humanity settiä. Millon lie tullu kuunneltua noin helvetisti.

Joo, kyllä noi "patricianit" on huvittavimpia spedejä, mitä musiikkifoorumeilla on tarjota. Parasta on heittäytyä "devil's tooliks" ku mestoilla on tuntemattomia ihmisiä. Kendrick Lamaria soimaan ku olohuone on täyttyny tuskalaisista, "Volbeat ei oo metallia vaan harvinaisen laiskaa Misfits-plagiointia" jne. Idiootin huvit on ilmaset.

Yeah, you do, especially Russian Circles - it was magic! I really want to see Bongripper, which I will this winter, at their only european gig. I'm looking forward to that a lot. Otherwise I'm not sure, it's like I've been to so many concerts it's not really as fun anymore, as it used to be. Unless it's like a favourite band of mine I mostly don't bother haha :)

ahah Moonsorrow! one of the first metal bands I've ever heard to! I remember the first album were pretty amazing! I don't know the other bands :) Well I was kinda into that melodic stuff, now I'm more into "just" black metal.. but I will try them, anyway! :)

Thank you so much. I know just few finnish bands, but it seems that Finland has the most "modern but old" scene ever, today. I really like Finnish black metal attitude!

Heil! I like your description. Where do you live(d) exactly in Finland? I mean, which part? Could you suggest me some Finnish underground black metal bands that deserved to be listened?

" depressing and melancholic music that criticizes the modern world and the way people live in it. There are also themes like the end of the world, meaning of life, death of nature, greed and finally hope." We definitely need more music like this in the mainstream, but it's great that you are pursuing that dream. Check out The Venus Project (if you don't know about it already and let me know what you think of it. The biggest problem is that a society and system like that is near impossible but it's a goal in mind for me and i'm attempting to help make that system a reality. Hard when humans are greedy by design, it's mainly due to the environment, lack of knowledge and understanding in our current system though we are trying but everything we do right now lacks efficiency. I don't want to see society as an angry, evil hateful bunch of animals, because even respect is possible in many animals if domesticated properly.

Yeah i agree with you there with the hip hop thing, i think that's pretty much with any artist that cares more about the money then the fans. Despite liking a few artists, Immortal Technique being one of them.. Macklemore is pretty ok too i just never really understood the lyrical content that much. Yeah i thought Wintersun was going to release Time II later this year, did something change? ..and i guess Equilibrium isn't releasing a new album either, i see Insomnium is in your list, hopefully from the way the EP sounds that band is going to release a pretty well album, the last album was pretty good but i couldn't get into the clean vocals in a few of the tracks and the music itself was the same as the previous album(s). Yeah here's the concept of the trilogy for SS - http://metalstorm.net/events/news_comments.php?news_id=22453 i hope they let us know about the release of the new album soon, i at least want to hear a track off the new album before the end of this month.

Also -> "But i still think that rap and hip hop suck balls. Not just the music, but most of the people who listen to this shit are complete retards" I don't hate hip hop music but i can say for sure that i don't relate to that style very good or at all. I grew up listening to some hip hop but after getting into metal it just became more apparent that metal fits my persona better, the lyrics are in English for one, i have picked up a few bands that have meaningful or beneficial lyrics/themes or it's just plain awesome in general (minus all the brainless mutilation songs for which i listen to when i am pissed off, Deicide for example, if i am listening to that band it means a few people pissed me off and that's my outlet). Back to rap, I will say that not all people who listen to hip hop are retards or just plain idiotic, i met some nice people who listen to that sort of stuff but some of the people who do listen to it don't bother to use english, think or are just plain ignorant.

The first album had me hooked. It was part of a top 10 metal albums (from Metal Archives or another website can't remember) where i ended up downloading the album. I had listened to it a few times while i was sleeping but one night i had it playing before i slept and it was just crazy awesome. Thousand Swords, Faceless are the songs that really got my attention, later on Blindfold Blade in the Snow and Dead Cold Inside. Whispered did a good job of incorporating the Wintersun/Ensiferum influences including Kappa, Finntroll influences. Eh the name doesn't really bother me.. though i think the older logo was a bit better. Whispered was originally named Zealot, i would love to get my hands on the demo they did under that name. The Satanist i think is the best album since Demigod. I have to relisten to Apostasy though i thought Evangelion was better than Apostasy. I don't know if your a fan but Scar Symmetry is working a trilogy 'transhuman concept' i'm stoked for that.

In response to your post on Happy Days (yeah my settings are set to private, i got tired of random spam in my shoutbox but you should be able to post) i'm just a little confused on what you mean, Morbid is writing the music for attention/girls? When i listened to the band i thought the lyrics were fine, but the vocals were just bad, though i think they were meant to be that way. I will admit i don't know much about Morbid but I did read that link that Trash posted, it seems stupid that Morbid thinks that black metal should be depressing and about suicide, there are plenty of different themes/styles in black metal (unless he meant dsbm, but still the other dsbm bands are unique in their own way) that have already been considered true. I saw your post in the Whispered shoutbox! What do you think of the new album? Also, love The Satanist, two great releases in the same month!

re: An Autumn for Crippled Children -- If you're a black metal fan then Lost might be the way to go. Only the Ocean Knows is my favorite though. I think the albums get gradually less straight atmospheric black metal but gradually more unique

Speaking of the similarity between Raventale and Shape of Despair, there is certain within my preferences. Simple note progressions, usage of synth choirs and strings layering the guitars, creating the epic melancholic mood. I'm searching for more music like this. You can check a video in my profile description and recommend me something similar if you know anything like that. Cheers :)

Hey cool, thanks man. I kinda hate my charts tbh lol. A lot of stuff on the first few pages of my library I don't even listen to anymore haha. Also yeah, no problem. Gallowbraid is so sick. Nothing will ever top Agalloch though haha
