I'm liking it a lot. My favourite IWC is 'A Turn of Breath', so I'm happy to not have intelligible lyrics. This years been mainly all about the Sarah Davachi and Rafael Anton Irisarri LPs! x

He was really good thanks, gliding across the stage through his incredible kit. Did you end up doing an albums of 2017 in the end, be interested to see it?

It's OK, i'm still a massive Krug fanboy so i'm always happy to hear him, but Cry Cry Cry never goes beyond fine for me. What about you?

I only saw (the word, not the album!) 15 minutes or so, but seemed like a hell of a show. Lights were incredible, and the new venue at Field Day worked really well for it. You see it all at Primavera? What were your top5 of the festival? You see Gas?

Yeah, the wife is not a massive fan, so we ended up seeing a bit of a few things in the end. Gah, no Gas! Unbelievable. What was your Primavera highlight?

I'm enjoying it, luckily saw them do it at the Barbican a few years back. I've only listened to it a few times, but if you liked bits of Age of Adz you'll like it.

...and just today discovered - 'Beautiful things you left for us are memories' by Pedro Vian and 'Muara' by Monadh which both sound like they would've made the cut if I'd listened before today! From the list, try the Abul Mogard and also the Dedekind cut if you haven't already...

It's coming together, i'll be sure to share with you when it's done. Always discover a few things from other AOTY lists round this time of year too, like the excellent C. Diab album. What about yours?

Michael Richards looks the worst, he is the oldest though. I love seeing those guys together, the proper original TOG. Every other gang look shit compared.

Innit, he's such a soundtrack whore! Apparently the look of Chucky from Rugrats is based on him.

I am! I'm going with my neighbours. That jam sounds pretty good - hopefully there'll be a little bit less feedback than that! Konono + Cafe Oto + those Belgian beers... what's not to love. Maybe our girl Karen Gwyer will be in the crowd! p.s. what's this? Last f what now?

http://www.last.fm/user/squeekobenelli/journal/2015/01/27/6egchq_2014 There's a few from last year that I've only got round to listening to in the last month that probably would've made it on there had I got round to them at the time. And yeah, Ghosts of the Great Highway is his best as SKM. Love the Red House Painters albums too

OK I love Bridesmaids. I think that's the safest way around this argument. Jon Ham is good. Oh yeah you do like SFA, sorry I forgot about that, must have been when you got rid of their albums. Nah you're alright, we're all friends here. That Ben & Jerrys was a great dy thou, free ice cream and that. Oh I miss that festival, the Ash one too! If I ever get any Spoon albums in vinyl you'll have first dibs on my cds.

Kill The Moonlight is actually my fav Spoon album so there you go. When are you getting that on vinyl? If you're not a massive Gruff Rhys/SFA fan I can see the benefit of watching the film, gig, app, book to enjoy the album more. I just love the album. You're not wrong, if it reminded you of Spoon then thats fine, its whatever you feel inside your heart and mind. And balls. You could argue that and I would argue it's an alright comedy. You never need to see Ted. See, Nostalgia for the Light could easily have taken Ted's place! Weird. Yeah it's 4 free tickets now but the price has gone up, I renewed before New Year so paid £35 and got 3 tickets. Dunno if you know of this podcast but http://www.wtfpod.com/podcast/episodes/episode_565_-_paul_thomas_anderson

Oh hello. What is this Last thing, is it like Whatsapp? This is your first Spoon full album listen isn't it? I love both albums, could even say they are the second and third best things I heard last year. Glad you are liking the Spoon, I didn't personally notice a Wilco similarity but that's great! When you buying the vinyl? I had a look at his list earlier, I've seen 29. It's a pretty good list, a lot of foreign films I haven't seen on there, fuck knows why Bridesmaids and Ted are on there, Bridesmaids are fine but Ted was bollocks. I've love to see Mark Kermode do one. Think we're doing a double bill of Whiplash and Foxcatcher on Sunday. FILMS

"highly recommended for fans of the aforementioned or actress, julia holter & peaking lights." They must know you're reading.... I'll prob check that album out too actually, see was good. And easy on the eyes. Nice tits. The Anti Matter one is excellent, just get those 2 tracks, that's what I'm gonna do. Oh yeah sorry the bus overheated. What a mug, unhelpful fucker. I wouldn't even know how to order a slice of pizza, that's your game. Hope you really do enjoy Interstellar, give me your score and then we can take it from there, I can see you giving it a 6 or 7.

Oh Lastfm I've missed you. The original and the best. Nice one, I'll see if I can find it and check it out. Did you say you'd bought it? Listened to Objekt this morning, liked a lot of it, prob will listen again. On that new Mouse on Mars now, the Tortoise and Anti Matter tracks are wicked, rest so far is so so. Well chuffed with The Strokes, they'll be great fun, as long as they play the new album in full! I like how people are already complaining, I think Arcade Fire, The National and QOTSA are all much bigger and popular than them. I think it's a great choice. Can't believe you got in at 3, I bet you were fucking fuming. Bloody trains overheating, sort it out. I was pretty pissed by the end of the night, feeling bit rough today. Oh Karen...

Awesome isn't it, just watched it again. COME ON ME GLOGS! The pen bit also made me do a couple of LOLSERS. Just watched the opening but want to watch the episode if there's a Clockwork Orange story and reference to South Park and Archer. Might watch it during work like a fiend. Oh hang on... 2 BLOODY DAYS.

**STOP FUCKING READING THIS DAN!** You make some excellent and agreeable points there. I just think from the book the big reveal makes a lot more sense, although we are shown this in the film when it first happens it wasn't a twist I particularly cared about thou thinking back now it does work. I guess I was just expecting a proper murder mystery who done it kind of thing, or at least the big reveal to last most of the film. I agree with what you said about social commentary / rolling news, I did really like that. I kind of wish I read the book first to see what my reaction would have been, if I would have been equally 'the fuck is this?' or if it would have made a different impact.
