I haven't seen Iron & Wine before either. I can't wait, Sam Beam is incredible. How do you feel about the new album? I didn't like it at first but it's really grown on me. The Shepherd's Dog is my third favorite album of all time though. I hope he plays a lot of older songs, and especially "The Trapeze Swinger"

well thanks... stop by more often : ) check out Karen Dalton first. her voice takes a little getting used to but she's great! "in my own time" was reissued recently and is a great place to start.

Nah, that wasn't me. I'm the type just to make awkward eye contact, haha. They played at my apartment once though in Mexico, ME. And my old band has played at Guthrie's. For Cosmonauts last show. It's nice place. Good food and beer.

YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL!!! i finally got your package and it made me so happy!!! i am wearing my Dodos shirt now, wish i could have been there with you. and had we ever discussed Richard Brautigan? because i tried looking for Trout Fishing once in my library and it was supposed to be on a shelf but wasnt there so i couldnt find it, and have wanted to read something by him, but never got around to getting any of his books! so i am very excited/impressed about the book and i am so happy for your getting to finally meet John (x2!)!! it is crazy too because i was watching weeds and the last song was mountain goats and i was like NICOLE!! THANK YOU!! (the royal mail was really iffy this semester and was on strike for part of it, so i will be better in the spring and send you something i promise)
