Wow. Well thart's a pretty sweet coincidence there. Kudos! :D I'm also amazed by the fact that a Venezuelan post-rock band played in the United States. I shall pay more attention to them...as well as your band (though I most definitely think I listened to you guys before). Cheers! (:

Yes, I'm going to Boris and Russian Circles. Do you know what day Boris plays? I would also like to see Timber Timbre and Feist so I'm hoping there is no clash

Didn't notice they had been in "Until the Light Takes Us", but they seem to have some very nice songs. Sometimes I think the music gets better if you know it's from Iceland. :D

You should definitely check out Liturgy and What the blood revealed. And maybe you will like the song Condor and River from Her Name is Calla. And if you want to hear something different, i would recommend Hidden Orchestra.

Oh yeah, I've found a band you might enjoy, it's the band of a friend of mine's that lives out on the East Coast. They're called Ever Forthright, they have a full-length coming out by the end of the year and it's probably my most anticipated album of the year. They play some insane djenty death metal mixed with some absolutely sublime jazz and fusion elements. Check them out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33MTPqfNXms

Oh man, I've been jonesing for a multi-scale extended range guitar, but they're so expensive... if I don't end up getting that Agile 9 I know of a luthier who makes custom 9 and 10 stringed multi-scale guitars for a really nice price, a shop by the name of Oakland Axe Factory if you're interested in learning more. My Schecter actually plays really nice, it came very well set up. My only complaint is that the necks aren't quite as nice as the Ibanez 8's (it's a bit bulkier but nothing too substantial) and the shorter scale length (26.5") makes the low end a bit floppy if you do anything lower than the F# (I like to tune my lowest to E, Tosin-style.) Otherwise, it plays pretty darn well. Thanks for the link, I'll make sure to look into that band. Unfortunately I don't play in a band right now. Where I live it's very tough to find like-minded musicians. I'm actually going to be transferring to a music school soon though, I'll let you know if I end up in any projects.

Thanks alot, mister :D Also thanks for the blogwalking... It's pretty awesome that our tastes are that similar, and it's also very great, founding another one with these "strange" tastes :D Let's do something... I'll spread the voice about Jung People (and your Last.Fm profile) and you about my blog (and my profile)... ;)

Oh yeah, I am beyond stoked for T.R.A.M.'s album, probably more so than any other album this year. Adrian is in it yeah, and so is Eric Moore who's an absolutely insane drummer. Man, that RG2228 is a nice guitar. I play a Schecter Damien Elite myself but I'm looking at getting an Agile soon, possibly their new line of 9 strings, those things look insane!

Thanks for the download! I'm going to get your full length as soon as I can. I've got an 8 as well. Tried learning CAFO, that didn't go over so well, ahaha I did, however, learn On Impulse and Soraya, those are some phenomenally fun songs to play if you haven't tried them!

I think that is the best part of the design of Radiohead. Always something to be relatively unexpected. Which sets them apart from the rest of the dynamic of commercialized music. I find that much more appreciable.

I totally dug it! And new Radiohead is interesting. I like it, but I need to inspect it you know. One of those things where you have to listen to it a bunch of times to understand it. It will certainly grow on me cause I love Radiohead. What did you think though? Any insight?
