Your comment about having to be over 40 to appreciate Hallelujah made me laugh. I can see where you're coming from, I can see that you're attempting to state that as one gets older, they mature emotionally, experience a greater deal, and learn more from life, thus allowing them to associate certain memories and feelings with music. I have no doubt that is true, but you're basically igniting an argument by stating it as you did, it tends to offend listeners, such as myself, as I take it as a direct insult stating 'You're only ___ (17, in my case), music can't have a profound effect on you', as it definetely does on me. - Good day.

It's not that under 40s can't appreciate, i guess, just that the meaning of certain things deepen and change as one gets older. We see things differently at 25 than at 18, for example. Even more at 35 instead of 28. Lots of things in life are that way.To all of the younger fans of Leonard Cohen, enjoy! But gimme a break!

Truthfully I don't remember what song I saw your Shout. But I like to see what people have to say about the music. As I was running my cursor over people's name I saw Nancy. I t is a name that for some reason I have always liked. So that is how I came by your site. Then I saw that you had paid a visit. Anyway you have some very good music in your collection. Some that I had totally forgotten about. So I hope you don't mind If I jam for awhile :)
