Since you listen to Dengue Fever you may also like reading my article on Cambodian music. http://www.laboratoriummuzycznychfuzji.com/2013/06/labopedia-muzyka-kambodzy-panstwa-w.html If you like it you may also click "lubię to" button to like my website (on the right handside of the page). Eh Bennie you know the Flying Luttenbachers? You may like, bit like Saccharine Trust taken to ridiculous extremes.

Ah! I heard some great stuff on the radio a while back, meant to see them play but stupidly missed the gig. Will have to investigate further.

Howdy champ! Yes, made it through. I see you did too. I hope things are okay for your friends & family. Barons of Tang are all sorts of fun, so glad you went!

Your musical compatibility with noddyvantinking is High Music you have in common includes Funkadelic, Mötley Crüe, Sonic Youth, Butthole Surfers and Betty Davis. You don't see someone who listens to both Mötley Crüe and Sonic Youth too often. Haha, nice, varied taste!

Wow, love your top albums list, namely Waits, Pixies, Kaada, the Mike Patton stuff, and of course, Secret Chiefs 3.

hello! tar! I'll surely check those out. I'm gathering quite a list of stuffs to explore & obtain and working thru diligently. I listened to the first song from the Lilium album and recognised the lady from Tarantella. Lovely song. Shall listen to the rest soon. I'm thinking I'll explore Jim White after "Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus" documentary he narrates finally turns up. I ordered it what feels like weeks ago and am hanging out for it!

(whoops. resending 'cos of minor typo) ..my pleasure. yeah! Huevos are worth making the trip. Happy BBQ Day by the way. : ) I've had a bit of Lilium pop up on Woven Hand radio but I often mindlessly skip thru tracks and miss heaps of good stuff. What is the name of the first album? Thanks for mentioning as it's often hard to tell where to start. Say, with Jay Munly, for example, if I'd started with his first albums I would never've listened again and lost out on his cavernous wonder... Yeah, 16HP crept up on me. I liked them well enough on first listen but now I am transfixed. I particularly fell into their sound in Townsville early last year when it was sloth-hot and I'd sit on my friend's back stairs and watch the sun set over the solemn Castle Hill with the wicked black cat roaming in the foreground. Hey! It's no Colorado but still! I didn't make it over to Magnetic Isle though, unfortunately. anyway, I recommend starting with their Low Estate or Sackcloth 'n' Ashes albums. : )

hey, I saw your message on Daan's page and I felt I had to inform you that on his latest record, Manhay, he's refrained mostly from his over the top, eighties kitsch of the last few records. I think it's a better choice for a Dead Man Ray fan than his previous records at least. And at a gig yesterday he even played Woods! Cheers, Klaas

Yeah, fully, i just saw a gig page for the West End festival, and I was "jezze, them were the days" so i clicked to have a look, and I see a purple eye profile pic that was rather familiar. And there you were, my heart fluttered : D Not too sure about your taste in music tho. dunno if we can be friends if our music score is very low

Top show mate. I loved it. I enjoyed Kate's set., I am a big fan of Texas Tea. She has a voice from heaven. I enjoyed John Doe. I have only heard his latest album, but he done a few from that. His voice is very good indeed. Jim was great. I loved his stories and crowd banter. Not scared to take a request either. Now at least I know what who was chasing tornadoes haa haa!

Hiya, I see you left a comment for Dreamkillers about their latest cd(s). How can i get hold of this/ these cds. I had read somewhere they only sell them at gigs. But my problem is I'm living in Korea so going to support them at a gig is a little tricky. Any info would be much appreciated. Nik.
