Just a reply to you comment on Trout Mask Replica about people trying to get an album, I do that for a lot of releases that get hyped up for a couple reasons. I have a very unfortunate attention span, so a lot of times it takes many listens for an album to click. Also, if I don't really like something that everyone else seems to like, I try harder and listen more to find something redeeming. This has turned me on to a lot of brilliant records I would have otherwise missed. For me at least, it has nothing to do with mainsteam tastes.
