that makes sense. i've found very few instrumental artists that i like. the best seem to be great bands that do occasional instrumentals like Mute Math. man, I wish they would do an instrumental album!

I assumed it would be. I loved Son... so much that anything would fall short in my eyes. Lyrically it was not that complex but it was an excellent account of what grace should be. Probably the only metalcore band I do not loathe, besides the first PTW album.

Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest is an amazingly good album. I will not be bothered listening to their new material.

I was very surprised when they announced their break up as I had been listening to them SO much that same week, by coincidence.

I think CTTS are popular because they are quite simply a really technical and interesting band, Fear Before The Bottom Falls Out Of The Internet Faux-Hardcore Scene are terrible. All their albums suck, they are only popular because of their stupid name and their crazy live show. The guys are absolute wombats with no clue. I like IWSMOFFY's self titled album more, but Three is an amazing song.

Funeral Diner and IWSMOFFY were a surprise, for sure. Hot Cross not really, considering they blew up and became the in band not unlike CTTS were 6 months ago. I listened to Risk Revival once, I may download it again, but it was Meh to me.

Not much really. There is a cool band called Quebec from Melbourne that cite Ampere as a major influence, and to be honest, you can hear it in their sound but that comparison alone does not do them justice :)
