I don't usually bother people with recommendations, but I have discovered a band that I enjoy so much I feel compelled to share. The band is [artist]Rainover[/artist], they are a female fronted symphonic gothic metal band from Spain and they are absolutely brilliant. Please check them out when you have time.

Thanks for the invite to Cirque Nocturna the lineup actually sounds quite good. Canada actually does have a lot of musical talent. I visit Vancouver often so I am going to try to plan one of my trips around this event. Are you going or have you gone to Metal Female Voices Fest in Belgium?

Emilie Autumn is one of my favorite artists ever since I was in middle school. :) Yeah, it's really hard to find good music in North America. Our metal and rock scene is largely dominated by emo Hot Topic crap these days.

I'm unsure if I will be going to the Kittie show, as I am in between jobs right now. Sigh. I was more interested in seeing The Agonist, actually, since I saw them when they were here before (opening for Epica) and they were fantastic live.
