ooh that sucks, big boi must've been pretty incredible. shanghai needs more hip hop shows for sure. we've had ghostface and like.. das racist, who were very underwhelming live. i've been alright thanks, christmas hols at the moment which is nice. IB is going okay, can't wait to get it all finished though. how's columbia going?

ah yeah latitude looks amazing (first time B&S have played in forever!) but i don't think i'll be able to go to it cause i have no one to go with. however, i will be seeing dirty projectors , and BSS is also quite likely. xiu xiu in a week's time though, which i am extremely excited for. you're going to see dirty projectors too?

oh man, that is very very cool. i am incredibly jealous. ira is a rad guitarist indeed. i just saw olafur arnalds at mao which was nice and really chill, although yeah... not quite comparable to YLT. ah no primavera... that sucks so much. although i have very awesome news regarding one summer show (the only one i know of at the moment). mark kozelek from red house painters/sun kil moon is playing on june 26!

there was this one pretty funny guy near me who kept shouting 'yeah! haw haw!' (literally like the word 'haw' read exactly as its spelt) after/during every song pretty much. at least he was apparently enjoying the music though and not just talking shit lol. man, i reckon YLY are gonna be amazing... but yeah hopefully they'll play lots of old songs too.

it was really cool. she didn't bring a full band though so it was really chill but it was still nice, plus she is a really good guitarist it turns out. she played mostly actor tracks and a beatles cover. no 'now, now' though, which was the only bad part. only till days till you're seeing YLT though!
