Only given it one listen so far so it's too early to judge, but it sounded great for sure. It was a little too long for its own good though.

Ugh, way to build up the tension you rascal! Oh well, I guess I'll just wait until it leaks/streams/is released. But damn do I already want to hear it! Their previous outings have been excellent and I'm sure the new on is quality stuff as well.

After The Fall is amazing i really dig their sound on the cd "Erradication". they are fast paced punk/ hardcore idk how to explain it really sort of like Polar Bear Club/Verse/fast paced drums mix, you might dig it haha. if anything you should check out Killing The Dream they are sick

Oh yes, please do review the Anders Friden Passenger too so I would know whether or not to waste my time on them.

So tell me, is that Passenger band actually good? I've only heard that one song they have a video for and I was unimpressed, but 66 plays this week, I mean, they ain't for nothing, right?

yeah the shoutboxes don't work in sputnik atm. Self titled is a very good starting point for Ensiferum, and it's an awesome album in general, so it's well worth checking out.

haha I don't blame you for taking time, I myself also make promises but due to time problems, only have the time to check out a few out of the overall many. Glad you like it, about how solid are we talking about?

haha so i i listened to that Devil Sold His Soul album a bit aaaaaaaaand it's pretty fucking good! I think it kicks Isis right in the face. Good stuff, i only listened to like 2/3 of the album as i'm in melodeath mood atm, but it sure is good. Will put it into my ipod tomorrow so i could give it more detailed listens. Good stuff though, no doubt!

sure man take your time. Idk if i'll dl the Devil Sold His Soul album today or tomorrow, probably tomorrow as i am tired as hell today. Or i might dl it today and listen to it tomorrow. Either way i won't listen to it till tomorrow. Hoping it will slay, your review better not lie to me!

aaaah post-metal. I was kind of hoping for something different. Well I'll read your review and then decide if i'm going to check it out.

yeah sure man, whenever you want, i just threw that out there so you could give it a go if you want. Also it's cool that we are going head to head. Best of luck to you. Won't be too disappointed if i don't get it but at the same time, it would be really good if i would. I heard a rumor that they will be picking new contributors/staff in november so i guess we'll have to wait till then.

prolly should yeah. I'll try to do that tomorrow if i'm not too busy studing and are at home in general. You should give The Duskfall a go. I think you would dig them. Try the album "The Dying Wonders Of The World".

you didint' actually like all of them did you? That would be something weird, very good, but something totally unexpected for me :). Also, new Crossbreed rules, give it a go as soon as you can, just so good mmmmmmm.

yeah actually I just dl'd that album to my current computer too although it is already in my ipod. Am going to listen to it right away sinec it rules (although I only gave it a 3 in sputnik in the sake of being objective haha)

yeah i know, it's pretty tight, the only con to that album is, that some songs don't have much replay value.
Actions
-
metalstyles15
yeah it's like melodeath with a death metal atmosphere. How are you liking Turmion Katilot so far (don't be afraid to tell, if you think it sucks haha)
Actions
-
metalstyles15
you should get their album Eternium if you enjoyed their sound. It is damn good death/melodeath hybrid if you are into that sort of stuff.
Actions
-
metalstyles15
sweet, things are back to normal. Also, I see you listened to a Diablo song, you dig them?
Actions
-
metalstyles15
ok I am glad you like it. Turmion Katilot is a little bit over-the-top industrial metal but it is really fun imo. Crazy finns haha.
Actions
-
metalstyles15
yes i agree. If to exclude Turmion Katilot (on par) then it was the least "metal" thing I rec'd you. If you are into that kind of stuff, then i can give you rec's more similar to that, or you can consult Willie (from Sputnik of course) since he is an expert on such things.

alright, let me know during this (or next, whatever suits you) week what you thought about some of them.

sure if you want then for some col industrial (metal): Crossbreed - New Slave Nation; Turmion Katilot - Hoitovirhe; Fear Factory - Demanufacture; Scum Of The Earth - Blah, Blah, Blah, Love Songs for the New Millenium; Celldweller - Celldweller; Cyanotic - Transhuman 2.0; Ventana - American Survival Guide Vol.1; Pain - Psalms of Extinction . That should be enough for you to get yourself started :)

Well I only got into them at the end of last year, so I need to catch up on listens too, but Deloused and Frances The Mute are awesome albums. All the links for the new one keep getting killed so I haven't got it yet. I just finished my second year of Uni. Doing computing (web design and multimedia). It also got hard this year, hah. What Uni are you at? I'm currently on a grind binge.
