We supported God Is An Astronaut and Caspian last year at Tuts. Acatalepsy (http://www.myspace.com/acatalepsysounds) which is my main thing as I write all the music for that, Haar (http://www.myspace.com/haarsounds) and now this new project with Steve and Kapil, which is going to be some kind of jazz rock thing. It's a lot of work, but I really enjoy it. Also, I see you weren't joking when you said you like the Deftones! lol. x

Yeah, I'm not sure how they calculate it... Haar is one of the bands I play in- the plays are mostly from listening to rough mixes of when we were mixing the EP. Maybe I should have turned off scrobbling so as to avoid appearing conceited lol.

Really looking forward to seeing Memory Tapes & Caribou. Pantha Du Prince could also be good, and I missed Moderat at Primavera so I'll prolly go check them out. And you?

Excuse belated reply; I like to think an awesome & eclectic taste in music partly reflects a person’s character & outlook, so I indeed concur. How did you come across ‘Vortex’ I looked it up on YouTube; it’s a fair point about it being more B.Seeds-esque-hopefully it sees light of day in some Nick Cave incarnation or another(it deserves to). Noticed you’re a fan of Tango in the Attic(from my hometown), they were meant to be playing an acoustic stripped down performance along with a number of Fife’s great Acoustic acts. In aid of launch gig of K-Town FM, which I was helping to arrange, but unfortunately it got pulled at the 11’th hour. Got an advanced copy of their album though-pretty decent, puts a lot of over hyped Fife bands from a similar vain in the shade...judging by their recent press…they may be destined for good things, I played ‘Blunderground’ on my Radio show, might have to see if I can get them in for a session. Give me a shout if you want e-mailed any tracks. Harky!

It may well be comparable to a quasi-religious experience and pilgrimage of worship at the hallowed alter of GSYBE! (excuse the pretension; I’ve waited years for the this…) Noticed you’re off to see Grinderman in September, I was lucky enough to meet Nick Cave on Thursday night at The Roxy Art House (tried to blag’ an interview with him…but to no avail), still it’s not everyday you get to meet the mighty Nick Cave, so can’t complain! Yeah i'm the same...enjoyed everything I saw, and saw loads of bands...often tore myself away from one to see another. Loved Titus Andronicus, Owen Pallet and Low. Oh I'm going to field day too!. Looking forward to it :D
