I was looking at your shows, wow Australia has a lot of neat stuff going on. I'll bet the Parklife festival was epic. In the US if you don't live in LA, Chicago or New York you get cheated out of so much good stuff. Maybe I'll see something when I go to Sydney in 2010 to visit my relatives.

Unfortunately, I'm not kidding. They've been planning this for a year, apparently. They say they're gonna turn it into an art gallery. I agree with the 'location change' bit since I assume tickets for Laneway were decent this year and last, but I think Fowlers is an extremely good venue for Laneway, and I don't think the 'replacement' will ever replace Fowlers' atmosphere. Honestly, it's pretty sad - I've only been there twice, but both of those times I enjoyed being in that venue. Sigh.

Still looking for a decent price, and I think I'll really get into it come school-season. But I am somewhat conflicted about whether I'll get into all the gigs, so I think I'll have to know how each licensed venue works. I really wish I could get into Laneway though, shit's really gonna go down there. If Fowlers ends up closing down, I will really be pissed off when I can actually get into licensed venues legally, since there might not be a Laneway stop-over for Adelaide if that happens.

what the? sorry for what? no comprendo? nah, I was just foolin around when I made that comment, teheheh. I downloaded the new E.L.F. EP from iTunes and converted it to MP3 format so that I can play it on my portable player. I really don't understand my iTunes bother with copy protection, it's such a pain in the ass....but yeah, "Sunray in the Rave Cave"...it's pretty darn good, kinda different from his first EP "Stevie Nicks Hearts", but the same sort of music I guess. There were only two out of the five tracks ("Big Eyed Kids" and "You Can't Fire Me") that I wasn't completely familiar with and i'm really digging those songs. I'm still gonna buy it when it comes out in CD on Saturday. I don't usually buy MP3s, but I was too impatient to wait until then :-) how's your day been?

The last thing I heard, was that he produced the latest 'Mess Hall' album Devils Elbow. Even with all the sideprojects and jazz, I still miss Gerling :-( anyhoo, how have you been?
