Hey!!!! The Morningside's working on a new album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coming out March 2009!!! I think "going_nowhere" is the mastermind behind the music. He posted a demo on the shoutbox thingy on The Morninside page. Take a listen! :) oOoOo I'm so excited! And Slumber should be coming out with a new album this year too....How I've been waiting o so patiently... And the new My Dying Bride album coming out March 23!!! Looks like it's gonna be a good year for DOOM. :D

So I thought I'd play some WARNING since I haven't listened to them in a while... and I just went on their last.fm page only to discover that they officially split up this month! Sad news, huh? :(

Well... according to one fan, "Fatal Design" is their best album. (and I should listen to "Time of Despair" to hear their old stuff). There's no mention of "Gone" in their shoutout box.. And omg, apparently they're coming out with a new album in Janurary 09'! Nooo, I'm so far behind! They have like 16 million albums out and I haven't listened to one yet!!! I gotta start buying their albums.. and perhaps a few more To/Die/For albums. Don't be hatin'... you know you like them. ;D

Oh um... mostly Decibel and sometimes Metal Hammer. Kinda gave up on Revolver for obvious reasons. I used to read Terrorizer, but I haven't seen them on the shelves lately. (It's such a shame that our Tower Records closed down). I like reading Decibel's cd reviews and their mini band biographies. I'm really into Chris Dick's reviews for some reason. Haha But yeah, that's where I read about Isole and such. Cosmo Lee sounds familiar, I probably read some of his reviews too. Hey those are some great sites. I've checked it out and listened to a few songs here and there. Umm... I only heard of Deserted by Gardenian and it's just so catchy! I don't really mind Isole's vocals that much. It's not bad imo. Maybe it's his slight accent that gets kind of tiring. Hey, since you like doom, have you heard of a band called Warning? I just discovered them through YouTube. I just listened to a couple tracks and I'm already hooked. Just putting it out there if you wanna give them a listen. :)

You know, you've been listening to a lot of bands that I've been meaning/dying to check out. I'll read some magazine and come across a band that sparks my interest like Isole, Gardenian and Coffins. And then what do you know?- I see you listening to the same bands! lol So it's either you read the same magazine as me, you're on last.fm 24/7 and discovering the same bands, or you're just cool like that and have already been listening to them for a long time. Dammit! :P

I only have their Deadlands cd. Yeah, not too many people like her voice but it's quite unique in my opinion. I've noticed people don't like their song "Silverspine," but it's actually one of my favourite tracks. Hey I see you've been listening to Gotthard. Totally catchy stuff! Hehe :D
