1) i love your charts and station. 2) probably because of this: SUPER- music you have in common includes Sunset Rubdown, Arcade Fire, Broken Bells, Explosions in the Sky and Spoon. 3) bonnaroo :)

Listen to just the River. :p That's about all I can take on the radio. Also, have you checked out Torq's solo project, Dead Child Star? If it sells enough, he'll make CDs, vinyl, and play shows. http://store.youarestars.com/browse/new/?id=2008

Ahh. Torquil and Kevin are my two idols, I've met one of them... I seriously need to meet Kevin. You didn't know? They played an acoustic session (well, Amy and Evan) with 93.9 The River at Bookie's bar & grill in Detroit in the afternoon. I brought my Nightsongs vinyl, they chatted and signed stuff after. They played three acoustic songs (Fixed, Wasted Daylight, Ageless Beauty) and it was really cool. I asked them about getting the others to sign it, and they told me to just go to the bus behind the Majestic. And then I met Torq and Chris after the show! Did you go?

I saw on the event page for the show... Couldn't help but ask. Did you like the show? The audience was sort of stale, I was going insane, especially during Meet Me In The Basement, lmao. They should play St. Andrews Hall or the Majestic! Fuck those seats! Also, I went to the Stars show about a week after and met almost all the band. Torquil is so great! Amy was so sweet, Evan was cool, Chris was super chill. I had a vinyl copy of Nightsongs and I got it signed, even Pat too (but Chris took it inside and got him to sign it).

You got Brendan to sign your poster at the BSS show back in October? Nice! How'd you manage to meet him?
