i was reading a quote from the late john peel the other day, he was talking about the UK band The Fall, and was quoted as describing them as "always different, but always the same" or something. and i thought that applies to Dionsaur Jr in a way. every album has the basic formula but they never sound like the last one, and growing up i used to skateboard to them lol

sebadoh is just kind of a different monster altogether, i like them but im still not like obsessive with them like i am with the dinosaurs, i have all of their records and never get tired of them, sebadoh tends to vary here and there.

fo sho, some hippie jam band was opening up, think i waited outside til they stopped wasting time. i was hoping to catch sebadoh sometime as well before that falls apart again.

i saw them at the troubador theater in hollywood, i forgot who opened, it was after they released their first reuinion album.
