poor philistines... why did their name get nicked to mean what it does? (gets out his violin for the barbarians as well). unfortunately I have no 'classical' style recommendations, being almost entirely ignorant in this respect (i'll let you know when that changes though :). I have a stack of stockhausen which i'm slowly listening to and enjoying, but mostly I've been relaxing with easy listening stuff while life generally overwhelms me... of particular note recently: j-pop (insanely enthusiastic, well put together garbage), and french hiphop/dnb (awesome textures). Ambient, best I've heard is ulrich schnauss, and also aphex twin did some amazing ambient stuff. I'm not very with the times, I just listen to what I find, and what last.fm recommends to me :) Last.fm is good for venturing!
