And what do you think of the record? I don't feel much love for it here in Germany. It surely isn't as unique, powerful and emotional as Reservoir and sounds like many records these days but like I said before I enjoy it nevertheless, although there other records from 2012 I like more. I try to catch them in concert in May. I'm really excited about the new BRS album. Didn't like Cold that much, but In Time To Voices (song) sounds very good to me. I read the first review 2 days ago. Wasn't written that well but promises a decent new record with matured lyrics and some development in sound. But I couldn't figure out what the differences could sound like. Let's see when the album is out! :) I've seen them five times which isn't that hard because they tour here very often in a lot of, even smaller cities. Haven't they toured South America last year? Next big album for me: The Shins on Friday. Have a good week! :)

Hi, Rooms Filled With Light was officially released today, at least in Germany. It sounds quite different to Reservoir (like it was expected) but the great atmosphere is still there. It's definitely not to much synth and electro stuff, just very good pop music. I like it a lot!

I think there is a chance that the new Fanfarlo will be my favourite of the year but I'm equally excited about a few other records released this year, The Shins, Bloc Party, Maximo Park, Grizzly Bear, .... and Blood Red Shoes of course. There are some bands I expect to experiment with their sound and to evolve but in the end it doesn't really matter to me. If a band has made an album I like very much, I'm very tolerant with their following albums. Most of my albums I bought online and I get them from several countries, but most of them from Germany and Switzerland because it's the cheapiest opportunity. I got a few from Italy, the States also... At the start you have to invest a small fortune to buy a good(!) record player but than it's very easy to get almost every album you like. I will preorder the BRS album, too. But at the moment there still isn't an opportunity to preorder the LP. But I just preordered the Fanfarlo record yesterday. :)

De hecho ese track "Liz on Top of the World" fue el que me hizo buscar el OST, me encanta, casi me dan ganas de llorar :'(, en serio. Siento que me conecto con todo lo que acababa de pasar Lizzie. Si, yo tampoco lo recuerdo realmente pero si este es tan bueno el otro puede ser similar no? leí que habían ganado un premio por él de hecho. Y entiendo lo que dices que te transporta a otra época, totalmente, y yo que amo las películas de época puedo recordar toda la película con sólo escucharlo <3

Sii, descargue ese OST porque desde que vi Pride & Prejudice me enamoró el OST. Creo que Dario Marianelli hizo que me gustara tanto o más Pride & Prejudice. Ahora estoy tentada a descargar el OST de Atonement :)

I get your points. Usually, I'm not that interested in electronic effects, but if it is catchy like that I just love it :) And I really adore Simon's voice. I always get happy when I listen to their songs and they were so beautiful live. I just love Fanfarlo. Well, I still have some cds that I'm going to add to my online collection this week and I got a package of 12 new lps last Friday. Who are these people?? I have a huge mp3 collection but I just need to have my favourite records on vinyl or cd. Can there be a better feeling than holding a cd/lp in your own hands? And of course it's important to support the bands you love (financially). I haven't been a fan of the first Cloud Nothings releases but the new album is just mindblowing. I really like this nostalgic 90s vibe. I think 2012 will be a good year, musically. Have a nice sunday! :)

I was very impressed by all the new songs they have released so far. If they can keep the high quality of these songs on the whole album, I'm sure it will be one of my favourites this year. I'm still working on my collection. Some essential albums are still missing, but I hope I'll have them someday soon. But it's a very feeling to have so many great albums on vinyl. :) Thanks!

Already listening to PV. I'm like you I can't tell if I like or not an artist if at least I don't listen to a whole album. I'm going to check out Austra first and then her solo effort.
