I noticed that I tend to leave a mark on every new artist's I thoroughly enjoy shoutbox too, I guess it's a hipster "I knew of this before you did" thang. If you want more recommendations regarding techno just ask away :) This week has been very good release-wise, especially with Terence Fixmer's EP on Electric Deluxe (including a Marcel Dettmann remix) or Wandler's Get Together EP (Jonas Kopp remix...).

to be honest, don't think i've come across anyone as eclectic as sunken foal in terms of his type of idm/folk fusion. don't even think the similar artists listed are too similar either...but you can try ametsub (though he's more idm/classical but still incredible music) and loess is also great. and there're james blackshaw and erik enocksson if you're more after the enthralling strings sound. if i think of anyone else, will definitely let you know :)

our music taste is too different i see. i just got the delphic album a week ago. i guess the cover is what made me get it and the music didnt exactly fit it imo. and the rest of my music taste is probably old 80s new romantic and jazz/avant garde. so yeah you wouldnt know them.
