I love the themes of 3 the most but I’ve also only gotten the chance to play the first 3 games, except it was the hd collection for 2 through crappy psnow streaming but I still managed to get the platinum trophy for both 2 & 3. I haven’t given the first game much of a chance ever since I beat it the first time but it’s still really good, and I plan on getting the 2nd & 4th once I replace the laser in my ps2 because I’ve heard a lot of good things about the 4th ones story and I’d love to experience the true silent hill 2 everyone praises.

Ah, we couldn't even get PS Now in NZ - I think though now that PS Plus has changed we might be able to stream some older games. Not 100% sure... recently just acquired a PS5 a couple weeks ago. Really disliked how in the HD Collection for 3 there's no option for the original voice acting. You should try: http://www.enhanced.townofsilenthill.com/SH2/ - I've only ever finished the first game once myself, I'd love for it to be remade faithfully someday. I sold my PS2 copies unfortunately when I was strapped for cash, they go for a lot now. 2, 3, 4 & Shattered Memories have the best soundtracks to my ears, I definitely rank them all pretty evenly. Yeah, I've heard that's pretty common with the lasers failing; that Enhanced Edition is just as good as playing through on a PS2. You can easily hook up a PS controller for it, I don't have the best laptop and it runs fine on it. Really need to get around to installing 3 & 4. Too many things to do and so little time haha...

I wasn't even aware PS Now was only available in certain regions. That kinda sucks. But yeah, hopefully now that'll be available and It's cool to finally get a ps5. I got mine back when you could qualify for pre-orders thankfully so I never experienced anything with scalpers or racing to buy one. When I played sh3 on the HD Collection I wasn't even aware that they were the new voices and I didn't mind them too much at first, but playing through the original game shows how sucky they were, although I still like Heather's voice in both games. I'll have to check out that link, and I'd love to get my hands on more of the games but I gotta prioritize some other stuff first before I go on eBay looking for something reasonable. I wish I could give my opinion on 4 & SM's soundtracks, but when it comes to something like this I typically don't look into any special features of the game until I play through it at least once, in case a song or cutscene is significant. If only there was more time
