Always nice to see another Voyager fan! Yep, I was up at 5am to watch the grand final; I'm a long-time Voyager and Eurovision fan, so I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Where do you live, friend? I hope they play near you soon, their live show is lots of fun. :)

Nice! I saw Voyager and The Beautiful Monument at Download Festival 2019 so I gave them a miss this time around although it would've been cool to hear some of those new Voyager tracks live. I saw Poppy, Ice Nine Kills, The Butterfly Effect, Trivium, Bad Religion, Falling in Reverse, Thy Art Is Murder, Karnivool and Parkway. I had only just gotten into Ice Nine Kills the week before, they were definitely the highlight of the day.

Good stuff! I saw Voyager at Download too, but that early morning set felt pretty subdued, so it was cool to see them on a smaller stage at Good Things. They played a power/prog rendition of Darude - Sandstorm which was good for a laugh. Are you going to Download 2020?

Yeah, I'm going to Download 2020. A lot of bands there that I want to see but I just know that there's going to be some clashes. I had to miss Ghost last year to be able to see Slayer's final Sydney show.

I listened to their first single and thought it was pretty good. Niilo's vocals were instantly recognisable. But as I'm not really a fan of the comic, I didn't listen to the rest of the album. Maybe I should reconsider that! As for Insomnium, I was pretty disappointed by Winter's Gate (unpopular opinion, I know), but I'm a big fan of their other releases so I'm excited to see what they come up with next.

Not too sure, my man. Lately I've felt a bit burnt out of all the bands I know and love, so I'm on the search for new and exciting things. Though I have been enjoying Alcest's Kodama.
