Congrats on your 8th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY :-) ... When you reminisce on all those years - how did your musical journey form over time?... P.S. I'll present this music to your "birthday": ... the term "sekiz" is Turkish and means: 8 :-) ... genre: minimalism/experimental -> from album ('piano edition (2nd album)' -> this track has 101 beats per minute) ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/sekiz

Hello Sam!

look blue go purple. my maaaaan

Heya - where are you hanging out since the great destruction? xanax? I love following yr music interests...

ahoy hoy! ecstatic to meet you (^~^)

hmmm yes I believe I prefer it to The King Of Limbs, but I dunno I do honestly love The King Of Limbs. At first listen I thought TKOL was just okay, but then it grew on me so much after each listen.

u like the radioheads new album?

^^

Yeah it's a very dry release schedule. Not tempted yet by Mario Maker but I maybe if a good level-building community develops around it. Xenoblade X is going to be a good game, though I don't know if I will ever have the time to play another massive JRPG again. It doesn't look promising for Zelda. I will be very disappointed if I have to buy new hardware to play it.

I hear you about Splatoon! That's very good. I really couldn't stand anything which resembled a typical online FPS. I don't go near such games. I will get it when I get back from vacation near the end of the month. Hopefully there will be some life in it yet. I'm not really big on online gaming. Mario Kart 8 is the only game I will play online at the moment. Yoshi's Wooly World is really good. Yes, it's like Yoshi's Island (without Baby Mario to worry about though) but with the style and aesthetics of Kirby's Epic Yarn. I really enjoyed both these games.

I played Demon's Souls and Dark Souls to death. (I platinumed Dark Souls … over 200 hours!) I don't have a PS4 and won't be getting one anytime soon so sadly I won't get to play Bloodborne for a good while. I got the PS3 version of Dark Souls 2 but it didn't grab me. I may try to get into it again sometime in the near future.

Mario Kart 8 seems to have been parked in the Wii U for ages. Only took it out recently long enough to play Clay Kirby and Wooly Yoshi … both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Don't play MK8 as much as I used to though, mostly just online these days. Haven't got Splatoon yet as I never liked shooters but many friends have been raving about it so I'm thinking about it more. Have been busy working on the old backlog since I've been on holiday though. At the moment I'm deeply into Pandora's Tower on the Wii, totally loving it! It's like somebody took everything I love about Zelda, Shadow of the Colossus, Castlevania and added a heavy dosage of Spirited Away as well and made that game. Had it since it was released, can't believe I waited this long to play it. Easily going to be one of my favourite games of all time.

♥

I just wish they'd hurry up and roll out the ability to make teams in Splatoon. At the moment you can only join a lobby with a single friend, and you won't always be on the same team.

👌

Winder Waker, the occasional game of Splatoon, and some other odd stuff here and there. I've been in the mood to play all the Gamecube stuff I missed so in the past few weeks I've been hitting up good deals on craigslist. Picked up Kirby Air Ride, Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime. Kinda missed most of that era of gaming because I was all about handhelds at the time.

I've been interested in them for a while, but I lack the proper consoles or a PC that's up to snuff. Weighty combat where every decision counts seems cool, but I'm not that great at action games so I wonder how much I'd enjoy it.
