You don't seem to have had any activity on Last FM since January. Are you still using SQueezeBox system with Last FM?

I forgot my password and changed ISPs so I lost my recovery email address so when I built a new bigger server and needed to put in my Last.FM password, I didn't know it. I finally figured it out and was able to go in and change both my email address and password. I have been listening to music all this time, it just was reported to Last.FM. Thanks for checking up though. Currently running two Vortexbox 2.4 Servers. One for Music and one for Movies, all my media is ripped to digital on one of the two servers. I am running PLEX Server to handle the video and Logitech Media Server for music.

Hi, thanks for add. His musical taste is also very interesting. I always try to listen to different bands and now the independent market has gained more room. Not that he is taking his turn as it should, but we can say that things will improve. I loved your comment, I agree totally. =)

Hi there. You have a very nice mixture of tracks on your charts. Did I read correctly that you have 14Tb of music? That is an amazing music database. I first started music streaming about 7 years ago with a SB3 then after a couple of years went for a Transporter, and over those 7 years have hardly played any CDs.

Hi Keith. Nice to heart from you. Hope you didn't get bitten by the Squeezebox Server 7.6 debacle. Glad you are doing okay. Yeah, the pool has saved us this summer. It's been pretty miserable. We've started getting some rain, but there for a while it was sooo dry. Looking forward to a trip to the NC mountains in Oct. 14 TB of music??? Holy cow. I didn't think I'd ever be interested in a music service, either, but it's been fun. Not sure if Spotify is the one for me, but I still need to try some of the other options. Try to keep cool!

Hi Keith! I have not logged into lastFM in a while so am just now reading your last two messages. I just got out of the pool and I am sitting here with the Squeezbox Radio and my iPad, dogs and hubby. It's still pretty chilly in the water though. I lost my patch of sun and had to get out. Favorite KoL album... I would have to say the newest one. I hated them in the beginning, but Russ decided he liked them, so I gave 'em another listen and they grew on me.

I am glad to hear that things are going well with your family. Things over here are complicated for my family, but getting better. I am almost done applying for college, something that I am really looking forward to in some ways. For me, I discovered that I enjoyed all the music my dad played when we would drive places. I decided to take some of his music up to my room and listen to it. Now his whole collection of CD's and Vinyls are in my room! It is amazing what childhood can do for you, and shape your tastes.

Haha After reading the rest of the nice comment you left I decided to respond again! That is very funny about the one word band names! Shortening the multiple band names like ELP is a very easy way to abbreviate. I enjoy listening to ELP a lot actually! It is not reflected on here though, but I enjoy a lot of their music. My one friend really likes them and Pink Floyd. All he seems to listen to are parodies of Pink Floyd or ELP. Roger Waters recently came to Buffalo where I live, and it was an amazing show! Really inspired me to listen to Progressive Rock again.

Personally, I didn't really know of any music until the beginning of High School (so like 3.5 years ago). Before that, the only music I ever heard was my dad's music either on the radio or on cds. I got really interested in listening to it, and even brought out my dad's turntable. As of like last year, I decided to venture out to listening to other types of music. This particularly included newer stuff. At first, it was punk. I quickly got over that though, and now I enjoy a lot of metal and progressive music as well as classic rock.

You've been playing some cool stuff lately. I need to check out .38 special to see what the fuss is about (I've got a few mates that are into them as well). It's visible that your a prog rock fan, have you check out porcupine tree - Fear of a blank planet or any other of their works.

Got your shout about my wall units...Thanks - I was really happy with how the wall units came out when I built them! The middle shelf is part of the structure, so moving shelves around isn't really an option. I'd rather not put the discs 2 deep because then I can't see what's in back. I liked the suggsions of putting the box sets someplace else and putting bookends on the tops to store more discs. Yep, that's the Miles Davis boxset - 2 of them with 3 outer boxes! One set is the original with the glue problem, the other is the replacement set with a damaged outer box, and the third is the replacement outer box. I don't think there is any difference sound quality wise. I had a lot of holes in my collection, so this made a great way of filling them.

Thanks for the great comment, made me happy! My parents aren't supportive of my musical tastes, to be honest. They HATE The Beatles with a burning passion. It's nice to hear that you're son hasn't gone through that Hip-Hop phase yet! ;)

Perhaps one of the 4 AccurateRip™s of the Vandermark 5 CD is from my rip. The only thing is that back in November 2009 I suffered a major hard drive crash (the HD with all my jazz on it) and now I'm in the process of re-ripping all my jazz CDs and I've yet to get to my Vandermark 5 CDs. In any event "Target or Flag" is one of my favorite V5 recordings.

tag FAIL ;). tagging is not just dainty. I mean don't you want to share comments etc. on The Beatles and The Beach Boys?
