Thoughts on the new last.fm? Reckon it'll at last inspire some activity in your sagging account? I have moved on to other trivial pursuits these days, it seems. I'm never on here anymore, nor do I attend as many concerts or listen to as many albums. It's a downright shame. I think I've become OLD and BORING, I'm not even 21 yet! I've been meaning to use the last.fm radio for a long time. Perhaps it can restimulate my interest. Been to, or planning to attend, any concerts recently yourself? Your musical scrobbling seems as ecletic as ever.

I've never heard of Fear Before The Marching Flames. What genre are they and, given my musical inclination, are they worth checking out? If you haven't listened to British India yet then I'd definately recommend them. Another promising local act is The Dirty Secrets. They are releasing their debut album in just a week or so. I am quite excited, haha. Hope you can fix last.fm and get back to me.

We do appear to have had very different Big Day Outs. I plan to write a review of mine sooner or later, which will offer a better point of comparision. Rage was getting rave reviews in Sydney too. Mind you, so did Tool last year. Generally, all the band's loyalists attend BDO and are not looking at the band objectively. Each to their own in the end. Ahh, that's always happening to me. I am the chief organiser of concert outings and, subsequently, are usually offering up my credit card. Friends can be notoriously slow to pay you back, especially once they've attended the concert. Glad you enjoyed BDO. I had to miss Brand New due to Bjork's pull-out, unfortunately. Wasn't thrilled by anything Rage played. They seemed rather jaded and dated. JW

My Dad has taken a Monday to Friday job in Melbourne. What does this mean? I now have an outpost in your fine city and, subsequently, double the Muse concerts each time they tour. You'll have to advise me as to their afterparties now. I had to get rid of a spare ticket too. It was a lot of hassle and I only sold for cost-price. British India and Arcade Fire were the best at BDO for me. Yourself?

Bronnie, all accounts thus far have Arcade Fire as the stand-out performers of the Big Day Out. I'm seeing them in a sideshow tomorrow night. Exciting stuff. Big Day Out is this Friday and I have a pretty decent plan of attack. Who are you going to see? I'll definately be seeing RATM, Bjork and Anti-Flag. Believe it or not, there are nice places in Sydney. You just have to know where to look. JW

My god! It seems Brand New really whored themselves out on their most recent tour of Australia. Every man and his dog appears to have met them. Not that every man and his dog didn't meet Mr Leto. But did every man feel up Jared? No, only about 3 of us. Furthermore, to add insult to injury, Jared was even hotter up close. Haha, I lie, he actually isn't nearly as good-looking up close. Poor me, haha

Get lucky! Why I never! I did meet Jared Leto last Friday though and orgasmed as much as a straightman can. I also felt up 'the man' for a good minute when he jumped on top of me in the crowd. Haha, there most certainly is love where Muse is concerned. I saw them three times in three days this past January! Was on the barrier for all Sydney sideshows and Big Day Out. I sorta wish I'd seen AAR now, despite their terrible live reputation. Haha, you should use last.fm more, it's actually pretty cool once you get the hang of it. I've found so many new artists through this site. James
