Yeah I agree, any band names with animals in them tend to rock. I will check out Panda Bear. Um, do you know The Low Anthem? I am only on Track 1 of "Oh My God, Charlie Darwin" but they are sounding really awesome, folky and kinda like Fleet Foxes. Foxes! Another animal.

To be honest I only got onto Grizzly Bear recently after the latest album and all the positive press around it. "Veckatimest" isn't really my thing, but I don't mind "Yellow House".

What is your opinion re: Great Lake Swimmers... I can't decide if I like 'em! They are pleasant to the ear, but a bit like every song sounds the same to me.

Hey Ryan was great on Friday, though i stayed way back in the stands - it was too hot. Why Do they leave was a pleasant shock. Saturday was a bit of a let down, cut it short by 40 mins because he couldn't hear - though the audience didn't know that. We all thought he'd just had a hissy fit and stormed off like he has in the past.

I was, and loving it. I mostly went for MMJ who were fantastic.

he has two shows scheduled for may in the US, and I'm assuming a full blown tour is going to follow. The release date of his cd was pushed back to June 26th, so either he's going to tour right before that, a shortly following it's release. There is already an album cover that lost highway released, so I know what that looks like! I can't wait!
