it's a good album, but for me nothing compares to ágætis byrjun and ( ). so far from my listening of the new ones there's definately some really excellent tracks but it doesn't grab me as a whole just yet. Just saw them LIVE last week!!!

Ha! Someone from Ads, LastFM, and dnb crew? Didn't think you existed. Yes it was a sick, sick gig. Cannot get over Calyx's mixing. And Teebee - dropping from scratching? Insane =)

I love skiing.. I just love that icy thrill :) But I'm mostly just in love with the snowy weather in general.. I can't believe you are going to Canada! It's my number one stop as soon as I can afford the time and moolah to escape this continent - ask anyone!

And I disagree.. sometimes genre labelling can be an advantage as these days no band is really strictly of one genre, but a hybrid of different ones, depending on each album, songs, collaborations, compliations that each band might produce... for example, people can search a particular genre, knowing they enjoy it, and come up with a whole bunch of results from fully indie to partly indie..

Yeah, that's why the Klaxons are probably the most popular indie nu-rave - because they're not strictly nu-rave in the sense, there's definately something indie rock about them as well as not REALLY being a dancey band. I'd say the Presets fit that dancey glowstick nu-rave genre more :). Definately check out the Rocket Bar on a typical Friday night...

Yeah, some of the old Goldfrapp, but mostly the new. Definately get some Klaxons, maybe some Presets and once you get into the Klaxons, you will find yourself immersed in the whole mixing/remixing cult - Justice, Daft Punk, Cut Copy, Simian Mobile Disco, Van She, Midnight Juggernauts (to name a few) are all making remixes of eachother's originals. Its awesome!
