How about those Pens?

Just got my tix yesterday, I'll be there, let me know.

Hey mm - I don't have tickets for Wire but I may be up for it. Looks like you're going? I'll check tomorrow and will get back to you.

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ :)

:-) Hey!

Right, well that was painful. Am I supposed to support Philly now? How about them Pirates!? gah

It is so bad. So bad. It is torture. No words. What do they usually say... Always next year! blah

Best to your and yours, MM!

just creepin'

Then that's 4 thumbs up on Buckingham's. And thx for the penguin props! :-D

The Horrible Crowes caught me - I even dl'd a few of the tracks. Also like Fountains of Wayne.... (and, perusing your last week's top albums, I didn't know that Hugh Laurie puts out albums, but I grew up hearing Duke Ellington, The Ink Spots, Les Paul & Mary Ford...) Do you like the Lindsey Buckingham album?

Hey Dan! Super compatibility - of course I love your charts... :-)

you're super, I'm super, we're superduper!

fun radio! Thansk!

No prob.....I actually thought I was already following you over here....my bad. I agree though it is much easier to track peoples activity over here.

Hi Maudeman - found you via mutual friend Arielle1111. Cool favorite albums chart. Let's see... Arcade Fire, Beach House, MMJ, Foster the People - good tuneage mix. Oh, and Hall & Oates. Yeah, I like my 80s too. Anyway, greetings from Louisiana! :)

I'm doing well, Maudeman, thanks. How about you? I'm trying out the premium Spotify and it's got everything I've been wanting in a music service. All the lala functions I've been missing, plus even more. This weekend I've been lost in a music discovery journey like I haven't been on since lala closed. So decision made: when my next rdio billing comes up, I'm cancelling. :( If you start up on Spotify, my user is karenslovin.

I did enjoy the album of theirs I tried out. They seem a mix of a few different styles, which I like. It makes the music more interesting that way, IMHO.

Hey, mm, have you picked up the brand new Eno record on Warp, "Drums Between The Bells"? If "Small Craft..." is great, then this new one is off-the-hook awesome! I've listened to it about five times since picking it up on Sunday and don't foresee stopping soon - it's one of those "deeper with every listen" records. Eno has created musical-settings for the really superb and super-deep poems of Rick Holland and he employs about 5-6 different reciters (including himself), so that every voice is fine-tuned to the lyric like a musical instrument. Trust me when I say you won't regret not waiting for this record to show up some day on rdio.

*Whistles* This is a *very* extensive library you've got on here! Hope you don't mind me poking around here, it's easier for me to see what people have in their library at last FM then wait for the Rdio collection to load. I'm off to check out Wire, now, since you have a ton of plays for them and I, sadly, have no clue who they are...

We have compatibility SUPER! :)

De nada, Dan. That Ebo's such good stuff, I'd be helpless to keep it a secret. It's one of those "praise from a rooftop" kind of releases.

haha that will teach you for teasing us syntax challenged people. Wait ...I think I did it again. Now I am going to go and snoop around your page :)

hey mm .. you is waaay ahead now :)

Indeed, man - it's less than a month away now, ain't it?

I didn't think you were stealthy! Seeing that you had visited just reminded me that we are friends here, too, so I just wanted to say hi. :-) Thanks for saying "hi" back! :-)

Hi! :-)

hey maudeman - thought i'd pass this along in case you haven't seen it - Norman Blake's new project - http://pitchfork.com/tv/#/musicvideo/11567-jonny-candyfloss-merge

hey mm - you in for Wire at the Middle East? It's a Sunday early in April I think.

Happy Holidays, Dan! :-) ♡

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joy to all!!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Dan!

great taste man

Lonesome Pete, Cody B and I are sorta a mutual admiration society over there, so if you find me (OMacacoAquatico), you'll find us all. Let me know when you've got your own mix(es) uploaded over there, mm!

re 8Tracks.com, it's growing on me. It hasn't exactly become a place where I roam looking for listening-fodder yet, but I'm getting there. I've enjoyed compiling a few mixes of tunes that aren't otherwise available for streaming on the web, however. And stalwarts/gurus like Cody B, Dave Luebbert and Lonesome are all cutting mixes of the same over there, so there's more to do over there than just upload and sequence tunes.

Hey, mm! We've been ridin' different parts of the range lately, haven't we? I'm glad to see you came by for a look-see, though. I'm gonna return the favor right now. Have you checked out 8Tracks.com yet - personalized playlists? Lonesome Pete turned me onto it over the summer and it's gaining gravity for me lately. It's pretty cool.

So is the sound quality for J. River as impressive in reality as it appears to be in print?

Hi & thanks for the visit - cool taste you have & Very High compatibility too! :) Happy listening to you! :)

Added you on Rdio.

Thanks fo rthe visit & request. Looking over your library now. I like what I see thus far!!

Süper compatible!

Paid cash money. Big house, and nice to have music everywhere. Also, I am playing with new software from a company called MiMedia. They offer a three month free trial (up to 500GB), and instead of uploading, thy send you a hard drive in the mail (for free) and you send it back with your tunes. Don't think I'll be seeing uploads a la lala anywhere, so I'm looking into this, plus then I'll have off-site storage.

Just Like them. Wait until you get comfortable using something (nonstandard) and then take it away and throw you out of your comfort zone again. Maybe if they fixed one thing for every person who leaves they might get somewhere.

I was just streaming some tunes before work and noticed you and I both were listening to James Brown very early in the morning. So I thought I would say hey :)

Nothing like some James Brown to start your day!
