I was born in Dallas! But I have no memories.. this should be exciting! New friends and stuff, it'll be an adventure. You can get away from all that old stuff with the ex and.. let the intimidation turn into excitement.

Aw I don't really want to make a journal about it because some people from my camp check my dA now, so I think it'd be weird if they saw a journal about it. I'll tell you here though, it was a 4-week camp that is a study tour, but (I didn't know this when I signed up) is also a notorious party/hook-up camp. I partied a lot. Hooking up not so much lol. Got hit on a lot, halfies are super exotic to the Taiwanese, and I was mistaken as one a lot. Actually this one Norwegian guy said to me, "You're the only white girl in this club." and it took me until I was sober to figure out what he meant. Shopped a lot. Drank a lot. Taiwan is beauuutiful, there are butterflies everywhere. The landscape is amazing, the mountains descend almost directly into the beaches. In Taipei the people are very friendly, elsewhere not so much but Taipei is tons of fun. So yeah. :) How was your summer, how is the apartment and school coming along?
