Yep, I'm a fully fledged Manc these days hahaa. Great artist still come thru our poky rainy city, eventually. You heard that Trof is buying The Sally? I always felt that place needed a lick of paint. If your in town on the 13th of July come check me at Sandbar 9:00-11:00 for some laughs and freestyle hip-hop!

True. There are far too many artists, genres and styles of music to explore and enjoy to limit oneself to one or two.

Hey, yeh really enjoyed it. Had only heard 'Give Me Your Love' prior to the gig and now I'm completely sold, can't stop listening to her and can't wait for new material! Definitely one to watch I think... she's got all the makings of a perfect pop artist. I hope so too! A simmering talent :)

Hello Sir! I can't find the shout now, and don't remember what I said :( I suspect the point I was trying to make was that BL are virtually New Order without Hooky, and Acolyte was the album they should have made, and not the slightly bland Never Cry Another Tear. I guess you've heard Memory Tapes Seek Magic? Now that is a very good New Orderish album. Cheers!

yes, silly silly folks... and they are the most vocal about their opinions too (and the least accepting of other views).. I found Colossus very multi-dimensional and was chuffed to hear so much soul. Feel free to rummage through my charts. I'd highly recommend Suway's 'Subway II' (the new Kraftwerk for me) and the Whitefield Brothers' 'Earthology'. Oh, and 'The Strange Dreams of Paul White' is brilliant too *)

My first 7" was 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing' by the New Seekers. I wouldn't be ashamed of ELO... Was also a big Ska fan in the 80s :-)

I can't believe you still have tapes of the Spinmasters! Do you remember when they had a residency at The Soundgarden off Tib St (just opposite Sachas)? My mates dad owned the place and I used to go down there quite a bit. I sued to go to the Herbal Tea Party in Hulme a lot, and the Phoenix. Good days.
