Covers for Jill
Jill Knight is a friend and an excellent singer/songwriter from Cambria, CA. Since she is a great songwriter, it may seem counter-intuitive to suggest that she do 'covers' of other songwriter's songs. However, Jill's voice and interpretive style are sooo awesome that some of the versions I've heard her do in clubs are far superior to the original recordings, which is what makes good covers so intriguing. So, as I find interesting tunes upon which I think Jill can make improvements, I add them to this playlist, hoping Jill will choose to do an album (or two) of covers, showcasing her vocal range and styling with songs with which we may be familiar and may have heard before, but which take on a whole new dimension when entrusted to Jill's skills.

XXX-rated
Wish I didn't have to have this list, but some songwriters have potty mouths, and feel the need to use the A-word, B-word, C-word, D-word, E-word, F-word and so on. They write great music, but with lyrics not suitable for the ears of innocents, so it's all slotted in here instead of general-play playlists. No intent to offend anyone.
