Hey Line, How goes 2009? It is shaping up to be a much better year for me than 2008 - the hormone therapy is coming along nicely now - the doctors are satisfied that I'm not in imminent danger of a stroke, blood clots or breast cancer lol - so they have been steadily increasing the dosage of oestrogen I take each day - I saw my doctor on Monday and she doubled the dose *grin* - it amuses her that I get really excited - it is like getting a birthday present :) Are you and your wife well? Hi Line, sorry about the delay in replying - I seem to be having trouble getting my act together at the moment *grin* Every so often having to deal with all the doctors and therapists really gets me down :) It's a real bitch being transsexual at times lol. .... It sounds like you had a wonderful Xmas/New Year ... I love driving and listening to music - it's the only way to travel & Australia is definitely a country of long car trips *grin* - mind you, I am much more conscious of using public transport these days, trying to be responsible! haha - not easy for me :) ... your family sound wonderful, I am so pleased for you and your wife - talking to gays in America can be so depressing at times - it is one seriously disturbed society :)) it's nice to talk to someone who lives in a relatively sane society!

I grew up in Mexico (Guadalajara and Mexico City) and lived in Toronto for the last 5 years before moving to the US - Nova Scotia is a great place...I hav e many friends there too!

The reason why we are going is of course to see Oslo. But we will also meet two girls who we know since a long time. They are fans of Maria too and we've talked a lot at msn with them... so time to meet them! :-) Uh, Vigelandsparken, that winterthingie... stuff like that. Hopefully there will be a lot of snow, because we don't get that often last years here in Nederland. And I'm trying to learn Norwegian yes. Uh, it was back in 2004 I think when I discovered Maria Mena. My interests in her grew and when I searched for some news at Norwegian websites like Dagbladet and Aftenposten I found some news about Elvira. I found some info about her and though: hmm... Norway is interesting. Anyway, when I started the Dutch Maria Mena Fanclub I searched for more Norwegian artists who are similar to Maria. Then I found Marit Larsen and Venke Knutson. And thanks to Last.fm and blogs like LetMeLikeIt.blogspot.com I found more and more. But only Maria is popular in Nederland. Other artists are unknown. ;-) I'm looking forward to travel to Oslo in january 2009. Norway is a great and beautiful country, at least that's what I've heard. Hadebra!
