Hi, I usually visit all my lastfm-friends a bit closer to new year to check out what they have been listening during the last 12 months. And at the same time leave some tips on what I have discovered last year. But anyhow here I'm now.:D. Late in the year I found [artist]Caitlin Canty[/artist] thru Kickstarter. Other discoveries during the year was [artist]Lake Street Dive[/artist], [artist]Austin Lucas[/artist], [artist]Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line[/artist] and [artist]Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors[/artist] A band I'm looking forward to see live is [artist]JP Harris & The Tough Choices[/artist] But I still come back to my old heroes [artist]Van Morrison[/artist] and [artist]Emmylou Harris[/artist]. Listened to almost all of their albums during 2014. Have a great 2015.

Hey Tony, hope you had a great Christmas! It is not completely decided yet but around 80% maybe :) I will not go to Primavera in 2014, I have decided that much so I would have some extra money :) I have wanted to go to Psych Fest for a long time so why not 2014? Austin is a great city too. Love End of an Ear, the record store. Probably my favourite of all I've been to :) I still have many record stores on my bucket list though :) How about your favourite albums from 2013?

Hi Tony, and sorry for delay in replying to you! It's been very busy here for a few months -- end of semester, beginning of summer classes, etc. I'm doing fine, though. Suffered not one but two external hard drive crashes in December, and I'm just finally getting my music library back in some semblance of order. I'm hoping all is well with you! Any new music you love atm?

It's great to hear from you as always, Tony! I'm doing fine -- it's been a crazy fall here so far -- we dodged bad damage from a hurricane a few weeks ago (although others close to Philadelphia sustained serious damage), and we just made it through the US Presidential election (I am happy/relieved that Obama won). Trying to catch my breath now. How are things with you? :)

Argh! Your email provider does not like my gmail account. I just tried to send an email from work - I'm testing to see if it goes through. I think I might remember something before about getting emails kicked back with the same error message -- unauthorized. Not sure if you have an idea of what the issue is. I'm keeping an eye on my work email, and if I can, I'll try again from work tomorrow. We'll figure this out. :)

Oh, and thank so much for sending The Rubens to me via Spotify. The song isn't playable in the States, but thanks to you I sought them out, and really like them. They remind me of Kurt Vile. You may want to check out Wymond Miles from my 2012 list - http://wymond.bandcamp.com/ . I can't stop listening to them.
