Hahah riot grrrl hmm well the name is based somewhat on the punk feminist movement (lack of girl punk bands) but anyways yeah what's wrong with a little female empowerment? Riot grrrl ideology is pretty much third wave feminism. As you may already know there are many different types of believes. Feminism pretty much means equality, I'm aware of that but there is just so much more to it. Riot grrrl doesn't even cover half of it it's just a small fraction that it chose to concentrate in. Riot grrrl doesn't exclude anyone. I mean listen to their lyrics, they're saying fuck gender/gender roles period...for both men and women.
