As for Of the Wand anf the Moon, you can check out the guys side-project, Solanaceae (The song Nihil Sum is lovely), the Jordanfrost record by Sonne Hagal (although I am sure you know if it, it is a classic), Darkwood, the old Boyd Riceneofolk projects (such as Scorpion Wind), or the bands Nebelung, Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat (an awesome band, despite the barmy name), In Gowan Ring. Yes, Petrychor are very nice, especially their first 3-song long demo. What should I start with, with Sleeping Peonies?

Sure, but Neofolk is a very varied scene. I am not sure what -kind- of neofolk you enjoy. It goes from aethereal, hazy, beautiful and completely harmless istrumentals (see Marras VIII by October Falls and Dypt Inne I Skogen by Vàli), through apocalyptic rants (The Cruelty of The Heavens by Scorpion Wind), ballads (Lost Men by Naevus, Jabberwock by Werkraum (although Werkraum make some mean martial industrial as well)) all the way to the meanstream-ish Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio or Spiritual Front. Also add creepy -actual- folk like Koiranlainen Peura by Tenhi and old time classics like Sturm by Nebelung. Tell me out of these which are your cup of tea, and I will try to find some bands for you. Cheers. But in return, I'd like you to help me out since you seem a BM fan; what reminds you of Petrychor and the old Primordial cds?
