Hey! So I gave Shannon a listen to. Loved it (especially the banjos! Exactly what I've been looking for) and will check out more of their stuff. I recognised some parts were familiar Irish melodies, some of which were used by Lúnasa. I think you'd get a lot out of listening to more Lúnasa actually. Great band.

I absolutely love Hollow Stairway - my personal favourite. But I love how the soundtrack is so diverse and every track sounds like... Well like it's from different level. What's your favourite? I wrote about my love for the soundtrack and game on my blog not long ago - https://kobelka.cz/hudba/soundtrack-monday/38-pandemonium-burke-trieschmann/ It's in Czech unfortunately, but Google Translator might help! :)

Hollow Stairway is fantastic (both parts, but especially part A). Definitely one of my favourites with the Celtic-inspired plucking of instruments and the drums. Then the recorder in part B. My favourite's the music used in Spider Forest & Canopy Village. Favourite levels as well, I just loved the huge trees. I think it helped cement my love for redwood trees too (see my profile pic!) I used to play Pande and watch a lot of Return of the Jedi ;) Just read the blog piece -great work (google translate helped!). Here's a trade then: it's my Spotify playlist of 'Pandemonium soundalikes', songs that remind me of that OST, or have that Celtic fusion thing Trieschmann's so good at: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0VtSPEWhNAQmUE6OmReUh3

Haha no need to explain - I know what you mean. I'm glad you like the playlist. Currently, like I said it leans heavily on the Celtic/Electronic fusion which you hear in Trieschmann's tracks for the earlier levels at the Castle (and forest). There's something about each of these tracks that reminds me of a particular track in the OST (maybe I'll write a blogpost connecting them sometime). Hopefully, you also heard there's a few echoey electronic tracks that sound similar to the Underground levels (Dungeon Tower, Fungus Grotto, Acid Pools). I'm always on the look-out for more tho, especially stuff that sounds like Burning Desert/Branky Wastes (sort of banjo-y) and Dragoon Skyfort etc. which have a sort of Arabian sound to them.

Hello again after quite some time. I have suuggestion for you - my favourite czech band Shannon. They play celtic music and some of the tracks kind of remind me Pandemonium soundtrack. And even if it didn't, it's still great celtic music, so feel free to listen to it. Unfortunatelly, they are not on Spotify, so I uploaded some songs for you to my web site, you can grab them here: https://kobelka.cz/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/13-Maxana%E2%80%98s-set.mp3 https://kobelka.cz/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/04-Lucky-Pig.mp3 Let me know if you like them! :-)

Awesome. I've download them and will give them a listen. By the way, I've added my Pandemonium soundalikes playlist to Last.Fm! Pro users can now use the playlist features again. You can import them from Spotify, however, you cannot edit imported playlists yet. When you can, I'll be able to add songs which aren't on Spotify too, like these ones. :-)

Hey there, I noticed you are an Alexander Brandon listener and thought you might be interested in this group. It's for fans of the music from the Deus Ex games which Alex did a lot of work on. The group has got links to the original tracks and remixes and stuff too. Hope you like it :) DX-Music Group

I love the story, to be honest. A game that starts with a screw-up by the main character is quite rare nowadays, now it's only pure hero-stuff. And the music is wonderful, plus I love the characters very much, and it's always fun when you become an animal :) Pandy is simply the best! :D

Aww, that's sad. =/ I was introduced to both games when I was very young, so they've always been with me, and Pandy2 has always been there, sorta. I really think you should give it another chance, though, it has one of the best stories I've ever seen in a video game. And Burke does a real good job with that soundtrack as well. :)

Yeah, the same with me. I love it, and I was so happy when I managed to find it for my PS1, as my PC won't run it anymore. But I think I actually love the sequel even more, but I haven't been able to obtain the soundtrack from that, I only have a game rip (I think) from the first game.

Yes, I do, I own both of the games, and I love them. The soundtrack is awesome, too. :3
