Fact: "The rest of the band has bestowed Berninger with a ridiculous array of nicknames. Some of their favorites: Mumbleberry Pie, the Dark Lord, Mr. Knee-Jerk, and the Naysayer." I chuckled.

Getting people moving is the only thing they're good for, most likely. I don't looooove them...unless I'm in the mood for pop music that makes me want to jump around. And that rarely occurs. :)

No reason not to do it; you have plenty of talent. It is all about confidence (or faking it). Pretend you are someone else, play the way you know how, and do not worry about what people think of you because you are not being you. Make sense? Or, be you and own the place. ;)

Not alone. I don't think I could on my own, but maybe. Old Man Band does. We have done traditional busking on occasion. More often we sit outside a bar at tables, order a few pints, and then start playing there. We have actually scored about 5 gigs via that method.

Love. Addicted. Trouble has found me and will not let me be. Almost double the plays of any other TN album in a week. Cannot help it.

Right on, we were discussing the interview. I will have to check out the Black Keys interview. It IS my first classical. I was planning on getting something like a $300 Epiphone Hummingbird that looked pretty, was loud, and I would not have to worry about when street playing. For $100 more I got a cool old classical. It was well designed, fun to play, and I was surprised how nice it sounded when plugged in. I have seen classical electrics before, but never of this quality in this price range. Score! It really makes you play a different style and shakes up how you play/write. Just what I need.

I don't know if I will with Humliliation. It's not just that line, the lyrics in general just seem pretty poor, especially when you put it side to side with indeed, songs like Pink Rabbits. Sadface. Def. this albums England for me.

Funny fact if you listen to ISLIS and Demons right after and you don't know how Matt's voice range changed, you'd think TN have two different lead singers ;)

yeesss I'm after first listen to TWFM (whole album). I started listening to ISLIS and thought: ugh, no. BUT then the second part: 'I should live in salt for leaving you behind' left me devastated. Too bad they changed Graceless :( I liked the previous lyrics and guitars more. Pink Rabbits are among my fav. I like how 'I need my girl' developed AND the fact it merges with Humiliation (too bad it's not album-closing track). 'This is the last time' -> that bass line! (it's bass right?). I've never heard TN play that way. Song I will definitely WON'T like (like Runaway from HV) is Heavenfaced. Matthew Donald Berninger what the hell is that -_- ? Absolutely no. Overall rating: Very decent album, but not among my favorites so far (it may change of course!)

I do think you would like Water Liars. They have one album, Wyoming, and it's absolutely lovely.
