Hey, thanks for the easy links. I've checked a few of them before, already got some of them. This music just hit me recently. I especially like stuff like carpenter brut, lazerhawk, dynatron. I like it a bit heavier i guess :p Miami nights is sweet though. I'll check out your recommendations that I didn't know. Thanks again =) And a nice library btw.

Is this the guy who smoked with user Nate999 and I just before the headline set? Or one of Max's associates? Regardless, it's good to make a cool new acquaintance! Needless to say, you have a premium taste in the arts.

Hope all is well with you. My new record is out, it's not concept: bravery anymore, but maybe you'll like it anyway. http://jaredcohen.bandcamp.com ... thanks for listening.

hey dude. this might sound like an extremely odd request, but i saw your shout on the cemetary page from four years ago mentioning that mathias had posted new cemetary songs on his site. since interphase-online.com is apparently totally dead and missing download links of any kind, i was wondering if you still had them, and if so, would you be willing to share??? thanks!

So, I'm performing under my name now, just Jared Cohen. No more "concept: bravery." I have a new EP coming out in a few weeks. You can hear a couple of songs at facebook.com/jaredcohenmusic. It's.... different! No more slow acoustic songs. It's more of a rock record, but I hope you like it!

It was just the atmosphere for me wasn't really what I was expecting. The vocals sound really cool but the rest of it didn't capture my imagination in the same way. I'm just obviously in a bad mood or something. I still haven't got around to listening to Agalloch. I know... heresy...

Have you listened to the new October Tide release yet? I assume you have. I was quite disappointed. Although, I currently seem to be alone on that opinion. :/

I have heard of Saviour Machine, Eric Clayton did some work on one of Ayreon's albums (Human Equation). I haven't really investigated any of their stuff before, the theme didn't entirely interest me. I might have to give it a chance if they sound familiar though.

Usually, it's you giving me suggestions... however it seems to be my turn. Today I happened across Grey Skies Fallen. Dark, moody and very doom-esque metal. Plus, their albums are free to download! http://www.greyskiesfallen.com/dl.html

Hey there! i know we don't know each other, but i've come across your page somehow related to my search of related bands of my music. So i think you'd like my band haha. You may have heard of my other band, Vision Éternel, but this is for my new one. Debut Soufferance, Vision album is now out! Released in Europe on Valse Sinistre Production, but all orders placed directly through the artist (in Canada) will receive bonus handmade numbered and signed material. This book-based album is a dedication to specific authors that have influenced the artist through out his life, and is conceptualized like a book. This 65 minute album is packaged in a gorgeous digipak, and the leather-look-alike bonus material will really make your mind wonder when listening/reading. All information can be found on the bands myspace: http://www.myspace.com/soufferance

You could play with us if you wanted to ; ). A bit of a trip but it'd be fun. I haven't read any of the campaign settings yet, but if my group keeps loving D&D, we might start dappling in it. I kinda like what I've heard about Dark Sun, so I think that'd be the place to start. Either way, even if we're not going to choose a setting, I'd still like to read a few of them. I tend to like fluff, and if I can use it for my sessions: twice as nice. What character would you play? race and class?

Thanks. Currently I'm just DM'ing the plain setting from the players handbook, Dungeon masters guide and MM and so on with my own flavor added. For instance since none of my players are magic users, I did a bit of "magic is evil and looked down upon" as you see in Dark Sun, only in my campaign only women are able to dabble in magic. Which makes for some nice witch/inquisition action going on. Btw, thanks, I'll look into it. Do you DM?

I've friended you back, so thanks! I would also love to see Swallow the Sun. Their choice of gig venues in the UK was absolutely useless for me, so I missed their New Moon tour. Hopefully next time they might go somewhere a little closer to me.

Yes, I'm still in web development. I manage a University's web presence now, which is a rather "colourful" place to work in. There is no end of things to do and no end of students who can manage to break things. I've seen Anathema several times live now, they were all great gigs. I've only heard them doing Angels Walk Among Us live from the new album but that was entertainment enough. Last time I saw them was November alongside My Dying Bride and Katatonia. I don't think I could have asked for a better evening actually.

I'm doing fine thank you. Work is busy, as usual, but that's life eh? As for Anathema, I absolutely love it. The positive vibe was quite a turn around for me, but I expected it after hearing some of their demo tracks last year. As for Katatonia, I absolutely love Night is the New Day as well, but then I have quite a taste for new-style Katatonia as well as the older stuff. I feel honoured to have you say I have a good taste. It's rather... varied... and some of the stuff I listen to can be a bit "simple" I suppose. I looked at your list and didn't know what a lot of it was. I just made the assumption it was Black Metal. Hehe!
