I gave that album you recommended a listen, quite liked it. Need to give it another listen though. Yeah, where the Lib Dem vote goes will be interesting - the Oldham East by-election was an unexpected result (in terms of LD/Tory votes).. It's these NHS reforms that worry me the most at the moment.. Though interestingly, more people have contacted us in the last week at work about the proposed sell-off of woodland than ANY other Tory policy so far.. These are depressing times all round..

Yes, I'd spotted that - I can't imagine her taking any crap! And I agree about EMA etc, it all seems to have been brushed under the carpet - the only thing getting much coverage at the moment is tuition fees.. Will be interesting to see what happens later today. Apparently, in a poll this week the Lib Dems have dipped to 8 points nationally (compared with their 30-odd per cent peak during the General Election campaign!) and only 3 points in the North West.. Will be interesting to see what happens at the next set of local election in May.. Have you ever listened to Anorak Girl by the way? Their indie/poppy, girly vocals might be right up your street.

Aye, Don't Get Me Wrong is one of my faves too :) I DO like Allo Darlin - quite like Heartbeat Chilli. Course sounds very interesting indeed, especially the child poverty stuff. Is it quite flexible? Bet doing an essay on Iran just isn't the same without Haleh Afshar! Ooh a PHD? Would you stay in Southampton for it do you think? Things in Labour Land are very well thank you - glad Ed M got it in the end, I voted for him. He seems to be saying all the right things at the moment.. Just waiting for a bit more substance! Cruddas would definitely have made it a more interesting race, though he backed David M in the end which was a little disappointing. I still think it's a shame Yvette Cooper didn't stand, I think she's more capable than Ed Balls. All in the past though now I suppose.. What do you make of the Lib Dems?! I still can't believe it..!
