I dig the new Animal Collective, and I really liked them before. It's different, but it is a lot more Panda Bear like than earlier ones. The only thing that kind of sketches me out is the use of something that sounds suspiciously like a didgeridoo.

Opinions! Thoughts! Comments!? On the new Notwist record? I love it. Not much of a stylistic departure, but not in a bad way. And I am god damn obsessed with this dodos record. Apparently an amazing live show. Sounds much more lush than your average 2 piece.

I agree. Some of the songs on the record remind me of that Dylan song Rosemary and the Jack of Heart. And not in a good way. The record is good, but it doesnt compare to American Water. Have you heard that Dodos album? Its quite good. Even though saying that shows how often I download what P4k recommends.

I really like the new Malkmus. Sleater Kinney girl is an amazing drummer, and I think she adds a lot to the record.

I'll second your Destroyer thoughts, it's brilliant. The second song completely hooked me on the album. If it wasn't for the Grand Archives I would say its an early candidate for 2008 Donald album of the year.
